I had the worst experience today, It was raining heavily and i was driving a car and was taking a turn when suddenly i felt someone hit againt my car from the back and a girl driving a bike fell down, i immeditaly parked my car on the side of the road and i saw the girl screaming i for a moment thought she is hurt so i immediatly went to her and asked her if she is hurting anywhere, she immediatly cried and within no time there was a croud and she was saying she felt like fainting even though she was screaming at the top of her voice, since i am dentist i told her that i can take her to the hospital where i an working and treat her if there is any problem she refused to come she said her husband has to come and that i must give her money i told her i cant wait i can treat her free if there is anything, but she was perfectly alright all that she wanted was to make some quick money
why are people so mean and i think she must be doing this very often to earn money.

I would say that it was a scam, and they are just trying to get money out of you. I don't know where you are from but her in the US a person runs into the back of you it's their fault not yours. Next time try another approach, jump out of your car if the person is yelling, then yell back that they scratched your car and someone is going too pay for the new paint job. What are you blind! How could you not see my car, and riding your bike in the ran are you nuts. lol then watch them get up and ride away.

Well most people are opportunist, so they take advantage from every possible situation, this usually comes from poor economic performance, in my country there are some people who like taking advantage from a car accident or accident in general to make money because nobody will go to the police unless if the accident happens in front of the police.

Hey there rubypatson, by chance are you from Chennai, since it was raining heavily here today. These kind of things are becoming frequent in my town also. Usually it is a couple of males, who do this, and they usually pick up on a person who is travelling alone. It seems this is a new technique where woman has also started to cheat people. Be careful with these kind of people, because they are hardened criminals, and they even murder their victims.

That's unscrupulous of her. Perhaps they don't believe in karma. because if she did, she wouldn't do that to you. I also ask myself the same question , why are some people so mean? They have different answers thought; some just do it for kicks, it gives them a new high, others are defensive and by being mean they appear aggressive ; some on the other hand are doing it out of revenge for a wrong done to them previously. Whatever their reasons why, there is no excuse to be mean. We should always observe the Golden Rule, what a better world it could be.

I think being mean is much much much more easier than being good. All you have to do is not to think about that person you are being mean to.
I think the best analogy would be destroying a building. All you have to do is to put in some dynamites and lit the lead but when it comes to building it, you will have to think of the angles, support, manpower, etc.

That seems to be happening more and more now days. When I was in a wreck a couple years back, everyone involved seemed fine. That is until the police showed up. You would think that they were auditioning for a part or something. It went from saying yeah I am fine and checking on others to.. My back hurts.. I feel dizzy.. I should have known it would happen. Later they tried to rack my insurance company with all kinds of bills for this, and bills for that. It was my fault and all, but why would people do stuff like that just to try and get money?

Sometimes people really do get hurt though. I had a friend who was in a car accident and broke four vertebrae in her back. They didn't hurt at first, and she told the police she was fine. But then when she got home, she was in so much pain she had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital and when they did an Xray, they found the damage. She is now in constant pain, taking all kinds of medication and physical therapy, and they say she will be in pain and with restricted movement for her whole life- basically disabled for life. Yet when the car accident first happened, she thought she was fine. Usualy if the injury is not obvious people are relieved but then the pain comes later.
She was in a cab at the time, and is now suing the cab company because their insurance won't pay. They can't say she's faking because she has the X-rays to prove it.
Most of the time people have medical bills that have to be paid, and of course they have to get the insurance company to pay for them. You should be thankful they didn't sue you. Car accidents can really mess people up.

It's happening anywhere. In one place that I went to, patients in a certain hospital would sue the hospital for any reason they can think of and end up with a sum of money.

hi Ruby. That's a nasty experience! There are conmen, and women, all over these days, and I think they don't even consider their victims to be human - they think of them as cash cows.
Sounds like she's making a career out of this. Hopefully the next guy she does it to will turn out to be a police officer! :)

She is really doing that for money. I am glad that you did not fall for her. Oh!!!! I really don't know why there are becoming more and more people doing some acts to get money from others. That is not a good thing to do.

I think it is disgusting, at least you offered help, some people will do anything for money and they don't care who they hurt in the process, people should have more compassion for people not money.
I don't know there is so much corruption going on in the world and greed is what causes it as long as you knew you were doing something good, than that's all that matters. Money is driving people mad thats what i say! .
