Hi friend,
antivirus is protective software designed to defend your computer against malicious softwares, malwares and so many other irritating things. I am a developer and working on antivirus for more than a year. And I have concluded that none of the antivirus is perfect as daily thousands of new viruses comes into picture and antivirus companies are unaware of them. They can not remove them.
Best way to fight with a virus is via manual checking. For windows user ctrl+alt+del gives detailed processes information, you can check their is some unrecognized process is running, once you find such an activity you can search for it on internet and if results told you that it is a virus then try to find its manual removal solution never download a software for this work. More you search better are you in antivirus field.

I don't think there is the best anti-virus software. After using some time, there will be some problems anyway. So I just use the anti-virus software which are free of charge. I think it works well anyway. I don't need the professional anti-virus software.
I love China

If your looking for a uselfull and easy to tweak Antivirus program, I suggest checking out ZoneAlarm. The software is free on a trial basis and its alot less inexpensive then other commerical software. I have not had any issues with the software since ive had it, I like the added feature that blocks malicious websites from being viewed as well.

If you are choosing between free versus subscription I'll tackle some infos for you to understand what benefits will you get.
Free antivirus which will be the product of AVG who top notch the free antivirus will be the first chose if you don't like or don't have a money to spare for a subscription product. They constantly updating files but i don't know if that is relevant to protect you from vicious attack on the internet. Unlike anti-virus that is purchased, consider you have a body guard with you everywhere you go. Easy to ask for help and more lkely you have a full protection on your pc with an up to date updates.
In my experience, I tried both of them and stay with my subscription antivirus. To be exact i'm holding a Norton 360. It's been 2 years from now and don't have a problem at all.
My advice to you is you need an antivirus on your pc no matter what the product you have.

if you want best protection from viruses use licenced antivirus, because any free or demo version antivirus can't give you full protection form virus. i used netprotecter. i used 1 year licenced version. i am satisfied from it'sservice. if you don't want to buy use avira free antiviruse it is good. have a nice day.

so far, the best anti virus for me is Kaspersky Internet Security antivirus. It is what I'm using right now and so far, I am really protected since I'm yet to have windows problems regarding viruses. I have tried most of the antivirus out there but only kaspersky satisfies me. I've tried AVG, AVAST, AVIRA, McAfee, Norton and even Bitdefender but I think I'm going to stay with Kaspersky for a while.

I like McAfee but I am now using AVG. I find McAfee very good but AVG is also good. I don't feel less protected with AVG. And they have a free edition available. I just make sure it is always updated.
