More Response, more you earn! I'm confused??

You earn for your own activity here on myLot. If you start a discussion it will earn for the first 2 responses (or 1 response + 1 comment). After that it doesn't matter whether it receives 10, 100 or 1000 responses, they will not earn for you but for the users who posted them. BUT you can earn from them by going back and commenting on them, which will make it into a discussion and that is what we earn for here. [b]When you type YOU earn, When others type, THEY earn[/b].

I don't know where you read that but you should refer to the guidelines. You are only paid for your activity and not when someone responds to your discussion.

The only way you can earn from your discussion, is to comment to all the responses you receive as that is the only way you get paid. You are paid for what you do and not what others do. The ones that respond, get paid for the responses they post. It is in your best interest to post comments, if you want to earn. It does keep the discussion going that way, and you could easily get more respoonses than what you already have. I hope this has helped you understand how it all works. You'll only get paid for your own activities not for those of other people. I don't know who told you that, but it's complete nonsense. It looks like fake stories are floating on the internet... If you react on all those responses you get paid for your responses, those responses also increase the chance of more responses because your discussion is bumped.

Yeah mate I thought it the same way but it is not like that. You don't get paid for the responses but for the first response.

oh yes... that is true... an you will get paid not only for the responses that you receive in your discussions for that particular day... but also after that... that's why it is very important to keep your discussion active... that means, commenting to the person who response to your discussions... that way, you will earn more money... take care and have a nice day...

I do not think that anyone really knows the whole earnings system because it is a closely guarded secret by Mylot, which stops people from posting purely to improve earnings without any real interest in the site. However, there are mixed opinions about discussion values and I believe that active and prolific discussions will improve your earnings. Which criteria apply I do not know, but if you create and maintain a popular discussion it should affect your income.

Well, as others have responded, you'll get paid only for your own activities. That means if you start a discussion which attracts a lot of responses, that means your topic is attracting. But that does not mean you'll be paid. Only when you comment on each of those responses you'll get rewarded. If you start a discussion and then leave it there without paying attention to it anymore, you'll get nothing even if a lot of mylotters respond. Hope you get it.

This isn't true. And I think you have reached an understanding about this based from others answers. We only earn from our own responses and comments. Hope this helps, yeah..

If lots of people have responded to your discussion, you aren't going to earn anything! However, you will earn money on mylot if you reply to those discussions. I mean, everyone can make a heap of discussions, get those responses, some more than others, and then we earn nothing. People than end up complaining about that on the discussions saying they haven't earned anything. Well, why should they earn anything if they haven't done anything?? You can have heaps of responses there, but without you responding to it, there's really no point, you will earn nothing. It would have been easier to not start a discussion then at all. Alot of new people try and start heaps of discussions thinking they will earn lots, and become millionaires! You wouldn't believe how dissapointed they get.. Like other people that have responded to this discussion have said, you only earn for what you do! It's just like working in a normal job. You do not get paid for just standing around there! No you have to work to get paid! The only difference is if you don't work at your normal job, you get fired, and mylot, well it's just an account, you decide how you want to use it. Effectively, or not. Only you can decide.

Hi, Cuteafsal! I think generally 'More responses, more you earn' is true, but it's only a 'tag line' as the real meaning is you have to comment back on the responses you receive then only you can earn as most of the users explained it to you already.

Cuteafsal, your earnings will reflect only those activities you have participated for a specific day. Therefore, when you get responses on old discussions you have started and you comment back on those responses, then you will certainly be able to earn from that. Your earning ability is not static and can even be limitless once you participate in as much discussion and activities on the site.
