No, not every Muslim is a terrorist, but so far all foreign terrorist have been Muslim. True, they have been radical Muslims, but Muslims still.
Is it hard to be a Muslim? Yes, I imagine it is. Just as it was hard to be a Japanese in America after Pearl Harbor. Being looked at, being watched, being detained in Guantanamo for no apparent reason for the last five years. Yes, it is very hard to be a Muslim in today's world.

It was also difficult for the Chinese at one time, the Irish and many other groups. My family is from Germany, when my uncle came here to America in the 50's he had to change his name because then, and even now, the war is considered because of the "Germans" and it was not the "Germans" it was the evil dictator, Hitler and the Nazi's. My grandfather was in the German Army and had no part of the Holocaust killings. Just like in Iraq, it is not the Iraqi's, but the dictator and the ones that terrorize in his name and honor.

Certainly not all muslims are terrorists, but the sad fact is that almost all terrorists are muslims. The fact that muslim leaders stand idly by without publically condemning those radicals in their midst is creating an atmosphere of suspicion and fear in communities around the world. I've even been told by masoud on this forum that the Koran is not open to interpretation; that there is only one interpretation. If that is true, then how can the radical islamists be interpreting it so differently from the reasonable, peaceful muslims? Also, if that's true then there is no difference between the terrorists who claim it is their holy duty to kill non believers and those who simply remain quiet.

killallia,
there was no need to reply or even bothor about him. Such fanatics are present everywhere and they try to prove they are the only one with complete knowledge and wisdom. But the world knows they are just a bunch of idiots. Just trying to get attention. The best reply to them is to ignore them.

I find it very hard to be a muslim in a society that is being taught through media that muslims are terrorists. I am white so for me I am not easy to indentify in public but my fiance gets called Osama in stores all the time, it is embarrassing but Allah will get us through this. There are muslim extremeists however ever religion, especially Christianity has Extreme people as well, unfortunaly Islam seems to be an easy topic for the media, face it it's all about getting ratings.

Not to mention that Islam is the only religion promoting violence in this time, so there really is not a threat from any other group to use the same kind of techniques on an airplane or otherwise.

MrNiceGuy, it has been proven over time that the aeroplane technique was not used by muslims, it was an inside game. Yes like the US government did it at Pearl Harbour, like they did in 'Operation Northwood'. Killing their own citizensto achieve 'higher goals' has been a consistant policy of the US government.
And if any religion is promoting violance. It is not Islam difinately. Sorry to say everywhere we find christians mainly who are supporting violance. What Israel is doing is only doing it becuaseof the help of their christian friends at the US. Whatever is going on in Iraq is because the christians from US, UK and rest of the west have geathered there to get control of oil. Its a long list really. Just stop blaming others for your wrong doings.

No, but it should be. I have zero respect for muslims. Especially after personally sitting down with many of them and talking to them one on one. I don't care how many people try to portray it as a religion of peace. That is laughable. Sit and talk with one for a few hours and see for yourself.

Not all muslim are terrorists but there are terrorists who claim that they are doing what they do for Islam. Those terrorists give Islam and fellow Muslims a bad name. It's hard to be religious nowadays, people are fighting on which Religion is better and sometimes they resort to war to prove themselves.

You have to admit that logically the best place to start looking for terrorist attacks has to be at the Muslim population. There is just no other real population to look at. Of course everyone is capable and not all Muslims are terrorists. It is just much more likely that a terrorist will be muslim rather than not.

but it is because people like you drive the idea in peoples heads that if there is a terrorist then most likely it is Muslim, there are many many Christian Extremeists out there, however most likely they will be muslim right, common now

come on guys some of the replies by non muslims are just pathetic...being a Muslim i would also say that for a Muslim it has never been difficult to be a Muslim whether it was yesterday today or it will be tomorrow, a true muslim fears his God only and believe in God's help in any circumstances...why dont u ask this same question to thousands of people (non muslims) of every relegion converting to islam everyday...it is the only relegion that gives you the lesson of peace, tells you about the equality between men and women, rich and poor. let me give you an example : have u ever been to a Mosque? if not then just chk it out there's no division of rich and poor,a common citizen and a famous leader...all are standin in a same line with their heads bend!
None of the muslim would ever say anything pathetic about the other relegion as taught to us by islam...but the non muslims are always so keen to throw dust on our relegion...i just pray to God to show u the right path...everyone will just come across the reality with time.!

i dont think we can blame every muslim as a terrorist but for their ill fate i think muslims are themselves to blame for it. recently we saw sadddam being tagged as a martyr. i dont think he is a martyr he killed his own muslim brothers. and still there are many muslims not all who say that saddam was a hero for muslims.
