Which one do you prefer, boy or girl if you are going to birth a baby? How about your parents, which one they prefer. As far as I know, many old people in China prefer boy very much.

I always said 'healthy baby' before. when I had my second, I just *knew* she was a girl and was thrilled to find out I was right! :) (My oldest is a boy.) My third, now one year old, is a boy, since I already had a boy and a girl I really didn't care. (though if I had been *really* pressed I would have said boy I think because he and his brother are already 4 years apart, I think too much more age gap and they might not grow up close...)
I do want a fourth someday, and since it'd likely be the last, I *really** want a girl. I always wanted a sister myself and would love for dd to have one, plus I want another chance to buy baby girl clothes and stuff....but if I were to be truly *devastated* if it were a boy, I just would not have another because that is not fair to the child.

I would prefer to have a baby girl but I am not trying to get pregnant. I already have a baby girl, a toddler boy and a teenage boy. Before I had children I hoped to have a girl first and then a couple of years later a boy. If I had only been able to have had one child I was have hoped to have a girl. My parents had two girls, me and my older sister. My mother just wished to have a healthy baby she told me that the gender hadn't mattered. In China there is a one child policy so people don't want a girl and a boy like me. Most of them wish to have a boy.

I prefer to have a healthy baby - no matter if it's a girl or boy! My first born happens to be a girl . . . and our second one (who is on the way) happens to be a boy. So I will get to enjoy both! I think my parents would have said healthy baby first too - they ended up with two girls!

We are expecting our first baby who will be born in January. You know what? I do not care about the gender at all. As long as you have a healthy baby, that's all that matters. The doctor said we are having a baby girl, and we are so grateful for our little princess.
