My laptop is brandless because I just bought this from my officemate who said that this is coming from China. I just bought this because this is cheap and the longevity and endurance of the product I believe is based on how you take care and how you handle that product. But right now I want to sell this and buy something new like from Neo or Acer. In other words I am beginning to show disinterest with this unit. Lol!

Haha. Why are you not interested with your laptop anymore? Is it slow? Well my laptop I'm currently owning and loving is Acer Aspire 4920. I bought it last year. It's just really the right laptop for me. It's handy or not so heavy with a great display plus I can play not so demanding games on it. I really love its design plus the name. It's my name. shadow41

Hello shadow Actually Acer is not an excellent choice for a laptop because there are more durable brands like Toshiba, Asus, Sony viao, apple and many more, but Acer aside from Neo and Compaq, is the only brand I can afford at the moment.hehehhee, Anyway, my greatest dream is to own an Apple laptop.

Acer Aspire 4920 - My acer aspire 4920 laptop. The best gadget I have ever owned!!!
Well Acer laptops are really good looking. Hehe. But I don't know if all models performs really good like the one I'm owning right now. Maybe you should really do a research or study first on the acer model you're planning to buy. Good luck in choosing your laptop. shadow41

yes, most people also loved to have a sony vaio laptop because it is durable especially if you have a high end activity with your laptop. HP is also great. I think laptops and other technology is lots cheaper in KSA compared here in the Philippines.

I have a mac laptop, a gateway PC desktop. I really love the MAC! It depends on what you want to do with your computer as to what kind. I had a Toshiba PC laptop that lasted a really long time. I have a little ACER notebook, the mini for travel, it is pretty cool, but none of them are the perfect computer. I wish I could build my own.

Hello! Some of my friends say that a mac laptop is very nice but this is quite expensive. I would love to have an apple brand of laptop, but my budget cannot afford the item as of this moment. So what brand can your recommend for a laptop?Acer is a lot cheaper than Toshiba in the Philippines, I think I will just go for Acer. What do you think?

I have a Toshiba Satellite thingie but i don't know what satellite brand is this since there are so many of it out in the market. It's been a year since i bought this laptop and been very helpful. It's fast and very user friendly. I guess most of the laptops out there are very easy to use. I am glad i bought this but of course, i would like to buy a new one which has a better specs. Hopefully next year..April.. LOL

I bought my laptop in 2007, yes, it is old lol. The brand is Acer. Actually I wanted to buy Sony Vaio, but back then laptops were quite pricy and Acer is the only brand I could afford. Nowadays laptops are very cheap, lucky young generations lol.

Hello! yes, laptops right now are quite cheaper maybe because of too many competitions emerging in the market todat. I would like to have a sony viao laptop but it is very expensive, so I would just settle for cheaper brands.

My laptop is Toshiba, and I love it. Yes I agree with you that it only depends on how someone takes care of it. I am very particular with my things so I make it a point that I take care of my laptop too. I've heard that Toshiba doesn't last long but I don't have any problems with it so far. It's been almost a year since my laptop was bought. Take care! :)

Hi jlamela, my laptop right now is a Dell, so far it's working great, very reliable, although I found it a little heavy, I think I will still be keeping it for a while since I'm very hook up right now with my iMac and I seldom use my laptop . I agree with you, longevity of your laptop depends on how you will handle and take care of it, whether you're using branded or generic or chinese brand if you will not take care of it, it will break easily.

Dell is really a durable brand, but quite very expensive so I cannot afford at the moment.hehe. Yes, I also believe that it is not on the brands but on how we take care with the unit that determines its longevity.

I used to lug around a Toshiba for school. I eventually found it too heavy to carry up 6 floors to my first period classroom. I recently bought A Sony Vaio-P and am very happy with it. It's perfect for my need for school and work. It's light, it's powerful despite the deceiving disk space, and it's PRETTY! LoL! I still have my Toshiba and it still serves me well. It's 5 years old now, and though its does not perform as it used to, it's still dependable for the tasks I require from it.

It is not my laptop by my girl friend's. She is currently using the Basics from NEO. Sad to say that the lcd was destroyed yet, the good thing is that, there are a lot of service centers here in the Philippines and that it fixed the problem although it was about 2 months.

i am currently using Asus laptop, eee series. It is very useful to me and i'd say it has been with me for like 5 years or more now and it is still very functional with no problems at all. =)

Mine is an LG with a wide screen since I often use autocad programs. It's nearly 2 yrs. old now and never had a problem eversince. Very reliable and handy but because of constant use, my battery is getting weak so I may soon look for a replacement. I haven't seen a laptop from china but it might be good just as well. If I can get a good one with the latest processor and the price is considerably low, I might consider getting a additional laptop. enjoy!

I use a Dell laptop as I used to work with Dell last time and I do get to purchase it at special price. In fact nowadays laptops are quite affordable in price and you can go from brands like Compaq, Dell, IBM or some tier-2 brands like ASUS and Twinhead.
