I watched the ol' skool version awhile back ago and didn't care for it. Reason being cause nothing happened the first hour, just a bunch of talk. Yeah, they killed a buddist monk, but the real stuff didn't happen till the end of the movie, when all the special effects kicked in. And then there was the perv who used his powers for evil. Then again, am I thinking of Dreamscape?!
