Any Twilight Saga fans?

I know I am probably far behind but I just finished the last book, Breaking Dawn, in the Twilight saga. I haven't watched any of the movies yet but the books were awesome and I want more. I heard Stephanie Meyer might continue the saga and I am hoping that she does. I really enjoyed the books so much and I want more! Now I need to watch the Twilight movie and New Moon. Twilight is out on DVD so I will hopefully get it soon and then I will wait until New Moon comes out on DVD. I want to see it in the theater but I would rather wait until it comes out on DVD because it will be cheaper. So, any Twilight saga fans here? Have you read all of the books? Have you seen the Twilight movie yet and will you go see New Moon when it comes out on November 20th? Did you enjoy the books? Do you want more? Who did you want Bella with, Edward or Jacob? I know I am asking a lot of questions but I want to know other Twilight fans thoughts on the books and the movie! :)

I cannot stand "Twilight". I saw the film and read the first sixty pages of the book, and I was disappointed. Bella is weak (compared to Buffy and Sookie Stackhouse, she is weak), Edward is an abuser (believe me he is), and I question Jacob and his motives (he seems to love Bella, but at the same time it seems like he is just using her to get back at the vampires). Also, the vampires sparkle?! Are you kidding me? Vampires do not sparkle. They burn! Look at any, okay just about every vampire film prior to this one, and the vampires either burn, turn to stone, turn to dust, or become human in sunlight. Many people call the sparkling thing unique, and I say that it's just creepy (especially for guys, men don't sparkle, it's just wrong). Also, what do these girls see in Edward? He doesn't look manly enough. He has no hair. Lastly, vampires can be killed by other humans. Stephanie Meyer makes it appear impossible for vampires to be killed by other human beings. Vampires can be killed by humans, just look at Buffy, Van Helsing, and a few other vampire hunters. Stephanie Meyer has butchered everything that is "vampire" in her novels. Vampires can be romantic, they can be sexy, I won't deny this, but they best have weaknesses, and they best look like monsters when feeding or when they are at their worst. I have read many vampire books and comic books, and I have seen several vampire movies, and I am pretty sure that I know the true definition of a vampire.

I am not against people who like it, one of cousins likes "Twilight", but I am just saying that I have read way better and have seen better. When it comes to vampires, I have my standards.

Well I guess you don't like Twilight, lol. You have a right to your opinion. Maybe Stephenie wanted to do something different with vampires. I love the books and I can't wait to see the movies. I truly think Twilight has put a new perspective on vampires. They don't all have to be the same as the rest of them. It is good to have something different. Thanks for responding. :)

They are about Vampires and werewolves and young love. They are not scary books. I will not tell you anymore because I don't want to spoil it for you but once you read the first book, Twilight, you will be hooked and want to read the next three in the saga. The movie, New Moon, based on the second book will be coming out in theaters November 20th. I have read all four books and now I want to see the movies. I want to watch Twilight before I watch New Moon because I want to watch them in order like I read them. Believe me, you will love them! Thanks for responding! :)

First of all, I really can't categorize myself as a Twilight Saga fan although I did enjoy reading all the book and even finish reading in less than a month. In my honest opinion, I do love the book more than the movie because the movie lacks some important parts on the book. About the New Moon movie, I'll still go and give it a try maybe it will not disappoint me this time.

In my opinion the books are always better than the movies but I still can't wait to see Twilight and New Moon! I need to see Twilight first before I see New Moon so I am going to watch it on DVD and then wait until New Moon comes out on DVD. Thanks for responding. :)

You definitely have to see the Twilight movie, it is really good. But anyway I have read all of the books. It would be really great if Stephanie Meyer continues on with the saga. I would like to know what is going on now with Bella and Edward, and maybe the next books would have more action and stuff. I can't wait until New Moon comes out, because after reading the series and then seing twilight and learning that there was a series, I'm all hyped up about it. But I guess after reading all of the books, kind of know how it ends. But I'm all for Jacob. I think he's sweet and stuff. But that's just me and I didn't like what Edward did to Bella in New Moon, I was at first all for Edward, but now I'm completely all for Jacob. Who are you for.

Oh I know, I can't wait to see Twilight! I definitely want to see it before I watch New Moon. I like Jacob but I am an Edward fan all the way. I didn't like what he did to Bella either in New Moon but I will always like him best! Thanks for responding! :)

I'm a huge fan of the Twilight Saga. I read all four of the books last year for the first time before Twilight the Movie came out. Now, as I am looking forward to the release of New Moon, I am reading the books again in preparation to go to the movie theatre during the opening weekend to see New Moon the Movie. I totally agree with you that I want to see more in the saga, at least one more book and there is a very vivid picture in my mind of what I'd like for that book to be but I can't say anything about it because it would really ruin the saga for anyone that hasn't yet read it.

I plan on reading the books again too! I want to see Twilight before I see New Moon so I will get the DVD and then wait until New Moon comes out on DVD. Until then I will read the books again. Also I am reading the draft of Midnight Sun that Stephenie has on her site. If you want to read it, you can find the link in a comment above. Now I am curious to know what you are envisioning for another book to the saga. Might be the same thing I am thinking. Thanks for responding. :)

I loved the Twilight saga...I blew threw all 4 books on 1 weekend! But I HATE BELLA! SHE IS TRASHY AND DOESN'T DESERVE JACOB OR EDWARD! I will be going the day New Moon comes out and have already reserved my tickets. I wish there were more books...I was sooo sadd when the last book ended.

Wow, you read fast! It took me a few months to read all four. I like Bella but I like Alice more. I want more too and I was also sad when Breaking Dawn ended. Thanks for responding. :)

hello, cwilson the books are great, i really enjoy it so much. Of course, as you know, Bella ended with Edward. I am really curious to see the New Moon, so I will be waiting here in the theater. It is fascinating to me because, these books teach me how to make a control to your self. It is hard to control our anger, love or maybe hatred when we get trapped to those feelings. Stephenie give me some lesson of life through this book. Keep enjoy the book and the movie.

Yes, I know she ended up with Edward and I am so glad. I like Edward better than Jacob, although I do like Jacob's personality. I have read all four books and now I want to see the movies. I plan on getting Twilight on DVD before I watch New Moon. Even though I know how it ends I have to see the movies and I will be reading the books again. Thanks for responding. :)

I am also a twilight saga fan. I have already read all the books and have watched twilight movie like 5 or 6 times already :D I know the movie is not that good but i just love it. And i agree with you that i really do want more after reading Breaking Dawn. It's so hanging in the end, like there's really something i want to happen before it ends. Anyway, i love Edward and Bella together, i hate Jacob although he has good intentions for Bella. I'm definitely gonna watch the New Moon in the theater after seeing the trailer. The trailer was so amazing, i so love it!! I'm reading the books again now because i want to refresh my memory on the story of New Moon..i have read the books like almost a year ago already.

I love Edward and Bella together too. I do like Jacob and I love the fact that they are both in love with her. I like Edward better though. I saw the New Moon trailer so many times because I love it. I haven't seen the Twilight movie yet though and I want to watch it before I watch New Moon. My niece got me started on Twilight and ever since she gave me the first book I had to have more so I bought the rest of the books. My husband had a fit when I paid over $17 at Wal-Mart for Breaking Dawn but I had to have it! Now I am obsessed! I plan on reading the books over again so I am glad I own them all, lol. Thanks for responding. :)

I am a fan as well and yes I do want more. Seems that good saga's always stop short leaving you feeling that way. I loved the books. Only took me a week to read all four. Unlike you I have seen Twilight, and the book and the movie have a few differences, but is still great. I can't wait for New Moon to hit theaters. As a matter of fact I already bought tickets for the midnight showing... lol.

I didn't even know about the Twilight saga until my niece got me hooked by giving me the first book. It took me longer to read the books because I had to wait until I had the extra money to buy the rest of them. I can't wait to see New Moon but I want to wait until I see Twilight. Thanks for responding. :)

I'm a Twilight fan too! And I've read all the books except Midnight Sun (the one written in Edward's perspective). I like the first 3 books, but the last one 'Breaking Dawn', i believe is poorly written. Its way too far fetched for me. I'm waiting for New Moon to come out on theaters.

I am in the middle of reading the draft of Midnight Sun which you can find the link to above! I know I probably shouldn't read it but I can't help myself, lol. I loved Breaking Dawn and I hope she writes more about Edward and Bella. I am hoping Stephenie does a book about Jacob and Nessie in the future. I think that would be interesting to read. New Moon is almost here! I want to see Twilight before I see New Moon though so it will be a while before I get to watch it. I am going to get Twilight on DVD and then wait until New Moon comes out on DVD. Thanks for responding. :)
