thats horrible.
if you're having a rodent problem, deal with it humanely, not in such a cruel method.
I keep pet rats, and know that rats, even wild ones, are very very intelligent, very sentient little souls, and have very individual characters.
if you need to kill them, kill them, but do it humanely. they are LIVES. and they deserve respect.
the tone of this is very much, hey, look at this way of killing an intelligent, clever little animal, isn't it funny.
if you ever need to kill any animal it should be done humanely and RESPECTFULLY.

I think it's mean. Animals do feel pain and suffering too you know, and if you must kill rats, you should do it in a more humane way.

I think the last line says it all.
"It may seem heartless but when you need to be more protective of your children and pets than disease carrying rodents, it is a very viable solution."
If a more humane way of killing a rat will also hurt my cat, I am not going to employ that method. We need to set priorities here. Also, the soda method won't harm the environment.

Hi..showpup
It looks very funny. Anyway i will try this at the earliest. These rats and mice are a big destroyers at home. I really hate these creatures. Thank you for the method.

I have tried everything. Poison, traps. I even poisoned my own cat. Do you think my dog will be next or the kids. I hate that! They get more wiser each time. What's the effectivity rate on this one? Don't they wise up later when they find out its not good for them? Hey, I know it's really mean, but do I have to risk the health of kids around the house with these rats? The house now smells too much of their wastes. Ever heard of Leptospirosis. That killed my nephew when he worked in a restaurant. Too many rats. Do you all wanna risk killing your own family with rat disease than kill them rats by any means if none of the conventional thing works? I've tried everything and it doesn't work. I think it's time to get really mean or maybe I should leave the area and give it to the rats? Find a new home. When it gets rat infested too then I leave the house and find a new one? What do you think?
