I will tend to fall asleep very easily when I am drunk and I am very hard to wake up! I will hit a limit when I am drinking and then just have to go to bed as I get very tired. Friends came round the other night and we all got very drunk, my friends husband was standing in the kitchen leaning on the counter top, he fell asleep stood up! I have never seen someone do that before, he slept for about 30 minutes.

If I am drunk I usally get very hungry and after I eat I get very sleepy. I stopped drink recently because of health concerns but when I did drink I would more or less pass out. I have been drinking for years and I never had a hangover. I always felt refreshed after a night out drinking. I dont know I guess it all depends on what and how much you drink. If you drink things that have have levels of sugar you will more than likely experience a high followed by a crash on the pillow or toilet.... My advice would be to spread your drinks throughout the night so you can enjoy the time your spending with the people your drinking with.

I will not drink. In India in normal households, ladies do not drink. May be it is a hot country so the drinking habit did not enter the household I feel. But some men will drink at home. I hear from my friends that they will usually go to sleep after drinking.

This is what happens to me if I'm drinking and feeling good I have to dance or keep busy. If I'm feeling good and sit down I will get tired and just want to go to bed. The worst though is going to bed and the room is spinning. I really don't like that so that is why I haven't gotten drunk in a long time.

When I'm drunk, I tend to stay awake longer. I just couldn't go to sleep because everything seems to be spinning when I close my eyes. And I don't want to puke on my bed so I try to stay awake till I'm a little bit sober. Then I fall asleep and then one hangover comes next.

I have alot of friends that are sick when they are drunk and they have been known to be sick as well as go to sleep laying in the sick as well as it being in their hair in the morning when they wake up.Where as i go to sleep straight away as long as it do not feel like the whole room is spinning out of control.

I have not actually been drunk for many years now. I have been that way when I was alot younger though. It made me go to sleep alot quicker also unless I was not feeling well after drinking so much.

It has been a long time, but I tend to stay awake. My husband is the opposit though he gets sleepy which makes it not much fun, because I want him to stay up and have fun with me and he just wants to sleep and we are both drunk so we are both irrational so it is not a good thing. That is probably just one more reason we don't hardly ever drink.

If I drink I generally fall asleep faster but they say it isn't a good sleep when you are drinking. Although it feels like a good sleep to me. I guess that is why I am so tired even if I slept for a long time after drinking. I must be tossing and turning a lot if I am drinking. That is why I try to avoid getting drunk haha

Hi jugsjugs,
I don't like intoxicating drinks, and I haven't ever tried any hard drinks, so I can't really personally relate to this question. But yes, I guess most people sleep easily when they're drunk, I've seen some friends and family members get drunk and they get to sleep even when they don't want to, and soundly too.

I sleep as soon as my head hits something where it can lean on. XD

Well on my first night drinking I went to a party (to celebrate GCSE results lol) I drank for the first time and got drunk. I got really tired and fell asleep on a trampaline 4 times :-p But since then I'm energetic and talkative and I dont fall asleep....until I want to of course.

I try not to get drunk by drinking little. But if I am drunk, sleep is the only thing that will happen, whether I like it or not. To me going to sleep after getting drunk is really a waste of time. Hope many would agree to my view.

Oh no, when I am drunk, I would rather stay in bed, and having a good night sleep myself. I couldn't stand awake and be drunk like that. I would fall into sleep easily. Somehow, that is what I am.

not only do i fall asleep i pass out. thankfully never anywhere embarrasing. and even this one time when i drank wayyy too much wayy too fast i blacked out and i thought i had just gone to sleep but im told i infact was up and moving around for several hours after my memory goes blank. i found that really scary and havent gotten very drunk since because i dont like the feeling of not being in controll of myself. getting a bit buzzed is still fine tho :)
