Hi, I have a job interview in a few days and just purchased 2 suits online:

I am completely new to suits, never worn one before and I have limited funds so I purchased two of the cheapest suits I could find on that website. I tried the suits on and they fit fine from what I can see, but I have a question:
With both suits, on one of the sleeves is a red label stating the brand name of the suit "Essential" here are pictures:

Are these red labels suppose to be cut out? Or do I leave them on? They are sewed in loosely at both ends. Sorry if this is a stupid question but I don't know.
Thanks for any help!

From what I can see, it looks like it's SUPPOSED to be there, but I still think you should cut it off - if you can cut it off without leaving any marks or anything. A lot of brands decide to put labels on the outside of their clothes, I never really understood that though. I work at a dry cleaners, so I know a little bit about suits.. But not that much. I say, if you have any doubt whatsoever, you might as well just cut it out. It also, in my opinion, looks a little tacky. And because you're buying a cheaper suit, it's not like you're "showing off" the brand of your suit, and it's not like you're trying to impress others with how expensive it is (do you know what I mean? I see some men come in to my work wearing Hugo Boss and Canali and brands like that - and clearly they want and like the attention to their clothes - they want others to know they paid $700 for their suit - which is ridiculous, might I add).
I would say cut it out. Looking at the pictures that you provided, you might as well just do that. The little red tags don't really serve a purpose and on the black material, they seem to stand out a lot. That's my opinion.

OK, thanks. I will have a go at cutting it out tomorrow. Even a little mark is less noticeable than that red block of marketing.

Forgot to add,
I agree with you. I purchased this suit not to show off but because it is required. It is my first suit too so I don't want to make a statement.
Now I need to learn how to tie a tie, been looking at Youtube videos but cannot reproduce their instructions. Argh lol
