Do you travel to warmer places when it gets cold, or the other way around ?

hi,sometimes did ,it's fantastic,i like travling,but in fact i have little time ,i must go to work ,if i have chance to travel.i'll exciting long time .

I live in North Dakota.....so, I get those cold cold Canadian weather fronts. I completely sympathize with you. If I could afford to go somewhere warmer for the winter I would definately do it. In fact, if I could afford it, I would go somewhere warmer permanently.

I love the change of seasons.I am here in Northern Virginia. Here we can get cold in the winter, we can get snow.And it gets real hot in the summer. I love that I need both shorts and a winter coat.If I lived somewhere the seasons didn't change I would be sad. Here we have cold but not too freezing winters. We can get snow but I do remember a winter when we didn't. So I don't feel the need to travel south for the winter.

Hi my friend Green Line. I love it when I get the chance to escape the cold British winter and fly off to a destination under the tropical sun. I have heard Canadians heading south in the winter are called the Snow Birds. In January in England it is miserably cold and this year I headed off to South Africa. It was warm and sunny in Cape Town. One year I went to the Seychelles and hopped to three different islands. Another year in November I went to the Maldives. I spent a whole winter going to New Zealand and the islands of the South Pacific Ocean. Right now it is cold, windy and wet here in my home country. I wish I could go off to the tropics. I can imagine flying off to the Philippines and doing some island hopping.

Well I'm currently kind of just stuck in the cold because I'm living with my mom and I'm trying to save up enough money to be able to move to somewhere warmer. I can't stand winter time and I live in northern Michigan so the winter's here can suck pretty bad sometimes.

Here in my country it's the other way around. When it's summer time, we go to a colder place like Baguio city or Tagaytay city.

It's funny but whenever it is rainy or cold outside I am always telling my husband that we should move to someplace warmer. The weather here has been miserable which makes me miserable. I would love to be able to travel somewhere warm for the winter time. Maybe one day.

It would be so lovely to be able to travel to other places when it gets stormy here but i do not have the chance to do so. I know of a friend who move to Arizona when it gets cold in Colorado.

I wish i could go to a warmer place as it is soo cold here but i could never afford to go any where.But if i could i would go to a warmer place.

No, I do not travel to a warm place in the winter months because I love the cold weather. I also do not travel when it is hot just because I can not afford to when it gets hot I just stay in my air condintion house as much as possible.

For me,I would like to travel another places that they are different from my place.I hate the hot climate and very cold climate too.I think alike you too.I like to travel the cold places in summer. However my country is tropical climate so i would like to travel in cold places all time, if i have a chance.

to some places which have cool weather, beautify sight is my hoped.

Hi Greenline! Well, I'm the type of person who enjoys relatively cool weather. When it's hot, I do travel to cooler places. When it's cold, I normally just stay put and enjoy the cold weather. I like Japan, quite a lot, actually. Apart from that, there's this place called "tagaytay" in the Philippines where it's sort of country so I thoroughly enjoy my visits there. Of course, I love where I am right now. My most favorite place is HK, since I was born and raised here but sometimes it just gets too hot.

Hi greenline. I live in the Philippines and most Filipinos go to other countries to experience snow, the cold weather and escape the heat. On the other hand, the Philippines has a lot of tourists coming in during the last quarter and first quarter of the year. Yeah, I think they're escaping the cold weather since they usually go to the beaches.

Last year we went to Texas right after Christmas. It gets really cold and snowy here, so it was really nice to be in Texas down in San Antonio where it was in the 70's every day that was really awesome. We were going to do it again this year but my sister will be here visiting at that time so I would rather be where ever she is because we only get to see each other twice a year.

I am planning to travel this coming summer time, to a cool place, where I can enjoy nature and be at peace with myself and the world. It's good to be in the right place with the right weather condition. But because of work or circumstances, a lot of us cannot really travel much yet to endure the heat of the summer or the coldness of the weather. Good day.
