"2012"

In my opinion it will not, as far as I know 2012 was based on the last year of the mayan calendar because of this alignment they were saying that will occur sometime on that year and in turn will trigger all this disaster and earth will be doomed, the mayans already denied this as well as the people from NASA. A lot of people is exaggerating everything about this prediction and turning it into movie spectacles.

I can't wait to see it....It looks really good BUT I'm also a huge John Cusack fan too so thats partly why I'm looking forward to it.. Do I think worldwide devastation will happen in 2012? LOL no...just like I didnt expect it to New Yrs of 1999 into 2000....or June 6 2006 (6/6/6) and so on

I can't wait to see the movie "2012" and I'm hoping to go see it tomorrow when it opens! As for whether I believe this will actually happen in 2012, no, I don't. There have been predictions of the end of the world probably since the BEGINNING of the world, or at least since people were first capable of making such predictions. From what I've heard, and I'm certainly no excerpt, this is based on the ancient Mayan calendar because it ends on Dec. 21, 2012 but on the other hand, it only began some 5000+ years ago. To me that only means the calendar is incomplete on both ends! Annie

I'm planning on watching this movie on opening day. I love these kind of movies like "the day after tomorrow" but 10x more. It looks like a good movie, I don't actually think this will happen though..

I dont think anything major will happen on 2012, but if some major disaster does occur then I guess we better be prepared.

As world and technology is going very fast, This movie should held in space,and it Should show picture of world doing normal work at space.

You can relate it with the day after tomorrow and independent day movie. There are many natural disasters that comes from strange planet while hit the earth. It causes big tsunami many disasters. Yeah, like end of the day as mayan prophercy has stated. But in my opinion it will not behappened in next 2012, it may just a little disasters that related with global warming. Have a nice day.
