Lately I get used to like the perfume. I found that it is comfortable to wear perfume when I go to sleep. Actually I will even wear perfume after having the bath at night. The nice smell makes me to fall asleep soon.

Hi youless, after having the night bath and applying some perfume definitely will make you feeling fresh and fragrant the whole night. No wonder you feel so comfortable and fall asleep that fast. I believe your husband does like and feel comfy as well with the fragrant smell in the air of the bedroom I like perfume with faint and fragrant smell of certain flowers. I wear them only when going out. I have a sensitive nose so I avoid to use those with strong smell perfume. I'm afraid that the remaining faint fragrance would still case my nose to sneeze seriously in the morning, so I dare not apply any perfume before going to bed Take care and happy posting

Yeah youless, to a sensitive nose person, all kind of strong scent will cause him or her to sneeze continually and then followed by the severe running nose. I hate having a nonstop running nose the most, for I could hardly concentrate in all the things I’m doing. This serious uncomfortable feeling distracts me from being absorbed in everything, including watching tv and surfing net. I won’t feel bad only if I can get into a proper sleep This sounds that only the type of perfume with faint smell suits us most. I like the jasmine flower fragrance perfume which gives a faint and pleasant smell. Seem that you are not active in starting new discussion lately. Btw thanks for the best response marked Take care and happy posting!

I never tried wearing perfume before going to bed... i am not that fond of perfume or other scents... and i feel like i already smell good before sleeping because i have just finished taking my bath then... and perfume would only ruin that nice refreshing smell...

I have allergies so it's hard to wear any perfume at any time much less at night. I do like a nice fragrance though. ~~I AM WHO I AM~~ **STANDING STRONG IN MY BELIEFS**

Usually I take a shower before I go to bed and when I get out I use body spray. From bath and body. Its all natural and makes you smell wonderful. My favorite is honeysuckle or jasmine. I dont know if you have a bath and body store. I know you can order online. Whatever scent you try, it smells so good. dl

My nose is also sensitive, so a mild perfume is alright for me.

I think that is one of the best times to wear fragrance. It gives you good dreams and can make you sleep better.

i agree with you that is nice to smell good at night but it would be better to use the natural aromatic smell of your bath lotions such as your soap. smell has a psychological effect on us. if you are to wear a perfume, just make sure that it would make you relax at night and not make you energized. Sweetdreams!

Huh? The bath soap we use already got fragrance! Depending on the brand and type, the fragrance of the soap after bath can be quite strong for some. That is more than enough fragrance for me! No no to additional perfume!

When you sleep, you are unconscious! What you smell, your conscious mind cannot digest. Why waste good money on perfume when you are using it only to sleep? That is something I cannot understand.

Hello! Sometimes after bath or shower I put some cream on my skin, like softening with a nice smell of mango or Lawanda for example. I feel better when I smell something nice and it helps me to relax...even after having a shower, I still smell nice like vanilla or fresh lime...so with that nice smell I am going to my bed...I never use a real perfume...

Hi, youless. I do sometime wear perfume when I go to sleep. I like to put on sweet body splashes. I love the refreshing and relaxing feeling that it gives when I drift off into a comfortable sleep. I heard that the scent of lavender prepares a woman's body into the resting mode.

Yeah I know!!!...Not just perfume but powder as well. I found a "bedtime powder"(from johnson and johnson) that has jasmine in it and it is very relaxing. It has a calming sense that makes you sleep really well.

wow. that's good for you. However, in my case, I dont wear eprfuem just to get to sleep. I think it woudl be a waste of good perfume. SO long as it's cool and comfortable I can get to sleep.:)

Good question (as always from you!)... I always put on perfume (or cologne for us guys) after I take a shower even if it is when I am going to bed. I also make sure that I smell 'good' before I go to bed or my wife will kick me out of it! It is a pleasant smell for me and for her as well so a win-win situation! Thanks Zelo

I think it's nice to wear/put perfume when going to bed because it'll make some people feel better and the bed to smell good, specially those mild flowery or fruity scents. I don't put perfumes when I go to bed, I would love to, but they were too expensive to use it every time I go to sleep, lol. I do put body lotion when going to bed sometimes and I think it makes me sleep good as well.

In fact you just need to use a very little bit of the perfume and it can already be enough. This is why sometimes the expensive perfume seems expensive but actually you can use it for a long time.

I love wearing perfumes all the time. And at times I will spray a light sent on me before I go to bed. After I get a shower or a bath I like spraying some perfume on. I like many different perfume scents. Lavender scents can make you relax and fall a sleep.

I have worn perfume to bed because I like to smell good no matter what. I don't do it all the time, though. I guess I just think perfume should be mainly worn in the daytime. I guess it's up to the individual. Thank you for starting this discussion. I think it'sa good one. Kathy.
