Where my husband works they drink coffee. My husband and I are not coffee drinkers. My husband drinks Mountain Dew and Hot Chocolate. I drink tea, hot chocolate and soda as well. Coffee is strong and black. Some people will add cream and sugar to their coffee. Tea comes many differnt flavors and people add either honey or sugar to it. I drink Peppermint tea, Green Tea with Lemon and Lemon Zinger.

I had to chuckle, RandyLovesDar, at your husband drinking 'Mountain Dew'! Most people in England would think that to be a kind of whiskey ... particularly 'moonshine' or the illicit home-made kind! I imagine, though, that it's a soft drink or soda of some kind. Am I right?

Mountain Dew is a soda here in the United States. I drink it when I was in school because it kept me up at night and it helped me to study. If I am correct there is a tea by you called Earl Grey? I know it is a strong tea and I would like to try it some time.

Hi aking, it's the same here in my place. There is always a kettle in most of the offices here. It's for the convenience as well as the welfare of the staffs to prepare hot drinks. To have a cup of hot coffee or tea after feeling bored and tired of work for quite some time, will let the staffs to be refreshed and energetic again for sure. I believe all the bosses do hope their subordinates doing well in their performance all the time. I know most of the chines love tea. Yeah, I learn this from my 3 different vacation in China 6 years or so back. That time I could see many elderly spending their leisure in the the recreation parks enjoying drinking tea. My husband and I are coffee freaks and I still remember we hunted for coffee whenever I reached a city or place. I believe that time coffee was not popular yet in China. We were in great pleasure indeed when we come across any coffee and condensed milk in the market I think nowadays there are lots of coffee shops like starbuck, coffee beans, secret recipe available in your place for sure. Happy posting

I am in Canada where we have a very popular coffee shop called Tim Horton's. People here love their coffee very much. So I would say coffee is a favorite in my community. However I usually start my day with a cup of tea myself, I do like to have a coffee around mid day. There are also many tea drinkers here but that is usually in the morning and after supper.

I prefer tea than coffee but whenever I'm in starbucks or a coffee place like Seattle's Best, Figaro of course I drink coffee. But tea is the best drink for me especially English breakfast. Twinnings from London. Try it.

I love tea.Reading news paper and sipping a hot glass of tea in early morning is a special experience for me.I dont like to miss this process in a single day.A glass of hot tea early in the morning is a must for me.I feel very bad with tea in the morning.Daily i drink two glass of tea ,one in the morning and one in the evening.I rarely drink coffee.I like to take coffee from the restaurant. The medicinal value of tea far better than coffee.Black tea is good for head ache and reliving tension.I think it is the simple drink preferred by people around the world.

For me it's surely COFFEE. I am an addict to coffee and i take about 3 - 4 cups of coffee a day. I do drink tea as well sometimes but not everyday. Only when I feel like I drink too much coffee in that day, then I would turn to drinking tea.

According to the research, coffee is a good antioxidant but it greatly damages the brain. Even moderate drinking can harm also. for me, tea is better to drink than coffee if we talk about health. tea is made of dried leaves from tea tree which are good sources of vitamins and anti-ailments. It's a good source of herbal medicines. If we talk about taste, then coffee has a good taste than tea but I suggest to minimize in drinking coffee.

But this is the easiest way to prepare either at home or at work. My other half and kids love tea at home and i never allowed them to take my coffee since it is bad for health hehehehheeeeee.....me?? I feel like something is missing in my life if i didn't take my coffee and i can take 4-5 cups a day and still can sleep like a baby!! I also like to drink green tea and Chinese tea beside my beloved coffee...hehehehe

Tea is the Chinese drink of drinks. Tea is a symbol of earthly purity. It's preparation calls for the most fastidious cleanliness from the rime of picking and drying of the leaves to the final infusion and drinking. Million of Chinese people love tea. But more are into coffee.

Actually,I prefer tea rather than coffee.it's acknowledge that tea has a long history in china ,and in some degree,i suppose it represents the chinese's cultural. and drinking tea in the morning will make us more energetic whole day. frankly,i think as a chinese i should learn much about the cultural of the tea.

In England, I think, more people drink coffee now than tea. Coffee is bitter and tends to wake one up. Perhaps that is why people like it. Tea is calming, soothing and takes longer to make. I think our tea, though, is different from the tea you drink in China. Ours (as a liquid) is reddish brown and usually (though not always) served with milk and sugar. We do have China tea and 'green tea' but most people in England think of a 'good cup of tea' as something much stronger than you probably drink! It is often called 'the cup that cheers', probably because drinking tea has always been much more of a social occasion than drinking coffee. There are some who like a cup of tea in the morning to wake them up (there is nothing quite like the fragrance of tea to make the morning pleasant and to get the mind going). Coffee, on the other hand, is like the kick of a donkey ... it wakes one up, but not quite as gently as tea! Usually, the morning break at work is called 'coffee break' whereas the afternoon break is called 'tea break' (whether one actually drinks coffee or tea at either of them!)

Of the two, my choice would be coffee. I don't like tea, hot or cold. I don't know why, but I never have. I do drink coffee. I like coffee in the morning or at night. Some days I have coffee at both times of the day.

Well, I guess the differences depend on what kind of tea you're drinking. Coffee is usually always the same though. At least to me. Coffee only has one health aspect that I'm aware of; it's good for asthmatics. If you have asthma, coffee helps clear your airways and make it easier for you to breathe. The caffeine in coffee is what wakes you up and supposedly keeps you going, but it always makes me crash, which is why I like herbal tea blends. I don't really like hot tea, so I tend to go for blends that are good over ice, and so far my favorite is pomegranate lemon grass apple. Very good blend! Very sweet and healthy.
