What Household Chores Do You Like To Do?

Hello airasheila,As a mom my favorite chores are cooking and cleaning as well.I do love cooking because i want that my family can eat nutritious and delicious foods every day.While in cleaning i want that all things in the house are well arrange and always in proper. I love fixing everything.Thanks Happy mylotting!

I enjoy organizing things and keeping things organized...if that makes any sense. I like keeping things in order, basically. I don't move around furniture a lot but mostly I check the cabinets and rearrange things accordingly. I check if things need to be discarded and do that, too. If there's anything that I can share, well, it's that containers and baskets can do wonders to help organize your cabinets.

I like washing dishes.. heheh..I really have no idea why I like doing it. maybe because it does not require a lot of energy, and I can still watch tv while doing it ( or atleast listen to it. hehhe. )

i like doing vacumm and laundry using a typical machine, weekend is cleaning day for me, i usually started early in the morning, first pick the trash, arrange and organize, fix furniture, dusting, vacumm, and next is bathroom room and laundry, at the mid of the day, i'm exhausted!! but thanks for some cool music too keep going while cleaning my apartment..

I hate doing chores EXCEPT washing the dishes. I don't know why... I guess I just love the feel of bubbles in my hands. Haha!

I have been born and brought up in a respected middle class family.My mom is very strict about cleanliness and stuff and she has ensured that I can do all the household chores starting from cooking to washing utensils so that I can sustain myself alone.I do a lot of work.Starting from tidying and cleaning my room in the morning,then washing my clothes myself.I also cook sometimes so that I am in the habit of it.I can prepare my meal without any help.I have done a lot of electrical works at home also.That was just because of my inquisitive mind.Then buying vegetables,mowing the garden,cleaning the cooking utensils almost house hold chore I have done.Infact I have even washed my bathroom.

Well, I don't like very many household chores, but I love cleaning the bathroom. Especially the sink in the bathroom. It is not because I'm weird and just like touching things that have probably touched private areas of others, it is just that it makes the house feel cleaner immediately. If the bathroom is clean, the house feels cleaner. The sink in the bathroom is usually covered in toothpaste residue, soap residue, stained from this and that. Once you clean it, the place looks brighter. As a matter of fact, I think I'll go clean it now...

When it comes to household chore I like cooking. I like to try out different recipes which can make my family happy. I used to like washing dishes but due to a sore in my hand i do not do it nowadays. I too like to rearrange the furnitures in the room to give a better look but my husband does not like and does not allow me to do it. Welcome to mylot and happy mylotting.

Hi Aira, I love cleaning the bathroom and the kitchen. it makes me feel so fulfilled for making it extra clean and smelling good. It's also a stress management technique for me... an exercise. I enjoy brushing the toilet bowl making it shiny white and the bathroom wall too. same with our kitchen. everything under the stove/range, the sink will be extremely clean.

Since I was a little child the only household chores I enjoy doing is "sweeping the floor". Hahaha.. But I also do the laundry every weekend and I think I like doing it better than cleaning the entire house. But my favorite is rearranging some furnitures and decorating the house...it is like a therapy for me.

I'm getting to the point where I do not like to do household chores anymore. But, I have to because this is basically my job. I am a full-time, stay-at-home mom. I would say I hate ironing and I like cleaning the most (dusting, vacuuming). When my kids were small, I often got crazy with all their little toys (with small parts) scattered everywhere. For quick clean-ups, I take my broom and sweep them all in one corner where I can quietly sort them out - not bending each time to pick up a piece here and a piece there.

I generally hate all kinds of chores, but one chore that I enjoy is doing the dishes. Right now, my dishwasher is hopelessly broken so I have to wash dishes by hand. For some weird reason, I like washing dishes this way. :P But that's the only chore that I enjoy. I hate everything else, I'm a very lazy person.

I like sweeping the floor. But my most favorite is washing the dishes and cleaning the bathroom - anything that involves water, except for laundry. It feels therapeutic, in way. And when I do that, I don't like being talked to, I don't know why. But it's like a break, even though you're doing chores.

I would like to iron my clothes and cook. Except that vacuuming the house or folding the washed clothes. I wish to have a maid at home who can do all those work. I am really lazy to do work I would say to do all these alone expect when I have some company I would do somework.

I like to clean and I like to have a house clean at all times. My favorite household chore would have to be vacuuming and changing the bed sheets. I don't mind so much the laundry. I clean each room at a time. I will clean both bathrooms and then start with the bedrooms. I love to clean when everyone is out of the house and I love to rearrange the furniture in the house from time to time. Like you said it makes the room look new.

During my childhood days I remember that I do some cleaning in the house, such as sweeping, husking and putting floor wax, I water the plant especially the orchids of my Mom. Now, I was the one preparing for food and cooking. I also do the washing of the dishes.

I love cleaning so i am happy doing vacuum at my home and laundry.I dont like to make large heap of dirty clothes so i try to wash them and clear the mess. I like to rearrange the shelves and stack the things neatly .

well, i just mastered the art of washing the dishes.. since i was small, i was always assigned in the after care. well, i think i have improved in the sense that i can do that easily now compared before which took me an hour to finish.:P i also love ironing clothes and believe it or not, i must say i am good at it, in whatever cloth that is and the correct way to iron each clothing..i was thought by my mom..thanks to her!
