If Given A Chance To Follow Guidelines, Will You Do It Or Not?

I have been thinking.. since ALL of us here MUST follow the guidelines, did you REALLY WANT to follow it or is it just because it's THE guideline.
I know we should but if you will just be given a chance, what would you choose and why. Or what are the rules or guidelines you want to violate? Do you think all of the guidelines made sense or sometimes you think why did they give that as a rule?
Honestly, sometimes, I intend to not follow it since the message or information that I want to give to other members gets too limited. In addition, I also know what will be the consequences with my actions so i hope i won't receive any comments like "you know the consequences if you did not follow" or the likes.:P
It's just that sometimes, i just want to freely express my feelings. Anyway, all of you are free to make any comments and disagreements here but please follow guidelines. Thank You.

Hi. Based on experience, I normally perform best if the guidelines are made clear to me. I guess it's because of the awareness of the possible consequences for any violations made.
But you are right. Following certain guidelines could be very limiting at times. By nature, people would always want to be free to do everything they want.
Personally, I always want to follow all myLot guidelines. But sometimes, I just don't notice that I'm already violating one. I have even experienced that one of my discussions was deleted due to discussion guidelines violation. One thing is for sure, I will never commit the mistake again. LOL!

Oww, I would like to correct/revise my last sentence. "One thing is for sure, I will try my very best not to commit the same mistake again."
Well, I just realized that I'm just a human being so I might commit that mistake again. LOL!

Oh, I had the same feeling. I was almost discouraged when my discussion got deleted for the very first time. But I learned the lesson. I decided to continue enjoying myLot.

Hi koala!
I realise that we must follow the Guidelines so that myLot continues to be the site that it is and continues to pay us. So I follow them now and try advising others to do the same.
I would love to go against them and tell others about... No I won't even say it here No point in me telling others to behave if I then become a bad citizen myself so I will keep quiet

Hello Mysd.
I understand your situation madame. Being an advocate for following the guidelines, you must set an example to the newbies here. If only there will be an award for being the most law-abiding and wealth-promoting member, that will be given to you.

If only users would read them then there would be no need for others to keep telling them and advising them about how to do things here. There would be so many more happy Lotters around too

Yeah, but the thing is, some of us here is just eager to earn. Like when i was new, i never visited the FAQ area since i thought you can freely express yourself here. Some members also don't have their own connection at home and just rent outside or sneaking to their office hours. So some don't have time to read it.

hello koala,
Oh, No. there's no way i would be all out rebelling again and speak for what ever i want to say, i have learned my lesson in breaking the rules, most specially in this site. the admin doesn't need to warn you in this kind of situations where you violate the rules, they just delete either your post or your account. but am glad some good friends of mine kept reminding me of what rules I've violated those days in my old account, still do in this account but not that much. am really trying to avoid violating the rules.

Hello LK.
Yes i have been thinking of following the rules lately and try to lessen my rebelliousness. Since i don't know if i can endure the pain if i lost my account. I think i would grow bitter on this site if it really did happen. Glad i haven't experienced and would never experience it.
Thanks to all of my friend and other members who isn't my friend yet for reminding me my careless actions.

Hello rg.
After some of the members here got their first accounts banned, i am now getting cautious with my actions as i don't want my earnings to get wasted as well as my number of posts! I think i don't want to risk those things.
I just hope that if i ever did violate one of the guidelines unintentionally, i wouldn't get banned from this system. I wish we could receive a warning or something like that. *this one's a very good suggestion to the admin*

Since guidelines are there even when I was not a member of the site I tend to follow it. I want to be odedient. But sometimes guidelines are unfair and selfish and it so great to do not follow it and be a rebel of that site. If you are brave to be a rebel there you have to face the consequences either they delete you and block you or you will follow what is written guidelines. I see it here in Mylot, some of who did not follow the rules their post got deleted I even experience it. I am just a human, I even know the guideline but sometimes I am not aware that I am violating it already so I accept the consenquences.

I'll following as write there, but I don't want to keep silence if someone broke the rules. Sometimes, I don't know where must I shared my problem. I just hope I can do what myLot given to us for some rules. I know the admin here is very honest person even I not look to his face. Keep the site grow up and this is only my option.

Hello may.
So do you report someone when you think they broke the guidelines? I do hope that you will continue to grow too and not only the site. Thanks for dropping by friend.

Hi Koala,
We use this site and benefit from it, and the admin ensures that no one gets to abuse this privilege by installing guidelines for everyone to follow - for me that's fair enough. But honestly until now some of them are still unclear to me, so I guess the admin should revisit the existing guidelines and listen to the users/members, this way they can make some improvements attuned to the need of the members, which will also benefit the admin/owner in the long run.

Hi ya dory.
I agree to that and i think some of them needs revision since some other guidelines are harmless if you didn't follow it. But! RULES are made to be followed and not broken so i guess we have to live by the rules.
But i do know that we can contact the admin if we want to.. some of us does this to voice out their opinions and suggetsions.
