Or did you go natural? I didn't have an epidural I went without the pain meds.

Ghost rider/ Marvel comics - comic character from marvel comics
I didn't have labor-----but I do have several degenerated disks in my spine and they gave me an epidural for the pain and it didn't help, so it was a waste of time.

my boys - my boys
I wanted to try to go natural on the first but it was way to painful. The pain, for me, was too much for me to bare. Also, labor was long. So I got an epidural. And I got one for my second son. My first son though, the epidural started wearing off and it was too late to get more. So, I could feel a lot of the pain but still had a little epidural left. I knew then that I couldn't do it naturally.

What a cute picture of your boys!! I wanted to go natural to but it was too painful for me as well. I went natural becuase the epidural wouldn't work for me. I had back surgery years ago and there was too much scar tissue so it wouldn't work and I didn't even try with my second one. Thanks for your response :)

i had an epidural with my first one, only because i had been in labor for 27 hours and i wasnt resting so they gave it to me so i could rest! I had one with the second one because he was induced and it was really painful! Of course he came so quick that i didnt have time for the medicine to actually kick in so it still hurt! lol

You poor thing, 27 hrs wow. With my daughter I was in labor for 16 hrs and with my son I was in labor for 20 hours he just didn't want to come out...lol. I went natural with both and I was induced with both of them so it was very painful but of course worth every minute of pain :)

well with my first child I had a epidural, but I got it late because the guy was out playing golf and didn't feel the need to come before his game was over. So the next two times I made sure they were givinbg the epidural as I was walking in the hospital doors.

Yes sure, this is a discussion about wether or not you had an epidural while you were in labor. An epidural is a shot they give you in your back for the pain when your in labor. It makes you numb from the waste down. They don't give it to you until your almost done thought. Did that answer your question I hope? If not let me know. Thanks for your response :)

I did AFTER 30 hours of pain with my two girls. It didn't help at all. I also did with my son, and I swear the stuff doesn't work. Luckily, he came in 7 hours. Ahhhh!

I didn't have the traditional epidural, I had an intrathecal on both children, my seconded eventually ended up being born emergency c-section.
