Things people write on other peoples walls that i think is stupid.A couple that live together writing on each others walls saying things like i love you babe as well as cant wait until you are here with me,then there is you mean everything to me and you are the best thing that ever has happened to me.Whats the point in that?

Frankly I'm a little offended that you think this is stupid. My husband sends me messages on my facebook wall all the time. I think it's sweet. Mostly it is when he is not at home. Occasionally if he logs on and I'm on facebook, he will open up a chat box and say something silly like "I see someone I love". As I said, it's very sweet. That's the point. You don't have to do it, but don't knock down those of us that do. I would never dream of starting a discussion beginning with "What you're doing is stupid."

yes if he is working away but not if he is always there as well as the people do not work away.I could understand if someone was working away from home. There are also phones for people that people can use to text as well rather than put what they want to be doing as in when they come home in the bedroom when they get back, thats putting it better than they did

I came into this through e mail, and I am now working my way up the ladder, so to speak.Again, I will say, I have never been to facebook. The image I got from this discussion was people scrawling messages on the bathroom walls. I am sure, from what I know of Carpenter5 that she and her husband also write other things and do other things than just send each other public love notes constantly, and as she describes it, it is sweet and endearing. Kind of like holding hands. As Jugsjugs describes what she is seeing, it sounds kind of revolting, as I think you are saying they are telling us too much personal information.Ewww! Yuk!

Those people are in love and sometimes you do even the stupidest thing because your in love. I have friends who do the same and although it may sound annoying to some. I tend to just accept it as it is since I knew they're in love. I'm just waiting for them to break up so their posts will change LOL. Cheers!

I think that it is great that they do that. It's not only showing each other that they are in love, but also other people. I don't see any harm in it, and will even send my husband comments when we are in the same room! Even Im'ng him when we are in the same room...

I think its best that we dont mind these people. We might not like their behaviors but we really dont have the right to question them. That's because its their thing. Its their lives. If they want to send sappy messages splashed all over their online walls for all the world to see, then that's their thing. Its best to just ignore that kind of thing if we dont like it, and move on to other things. Their point in doing that maybe just for the two of them. If I had to guess, its their way of showing their love for one another. It might not be the most appropriate way of showing it cause it could come across as "love spam", still, its their accounts, their Facebook walls, so they can do with it whatever they wanted. As for me, I just skip those kinds of lines, move on to other things, and generally just ignore their personal messages to each other.

Hi JJ, It's okay with me seeing and reading things like this on facebook. this is their way of expressing their love for each other and that they are so proud to tell the world how they love each other. i let them be. if this will make them happy why not? as long as they will not write on things that will offend and ruin others life and reputation.

well is true what is the point if they are not meaning to follow through with it? See maybe they are talking to each other and their puppy love is driving them to do something good or stupid. It means nothing to you cause its not aimed to you.

I don't actually post anything in my wall in face book not unless important like inviting all of my friends to a party. I really don't appreciate people posting nonsense things on face book. But that's their freedom. So if that what's make the couple happy, then let it be.

I have no idea. I put that in the same class as people sitting on the same couch and texting each other. Jeez!!

. i know what you mean. i opened a facebook account because it is one of the most convenient ways to keep in touch with my siblings and far flung relatives. however, i find people who constantly update their facebook with what they're doing as feeling celebrity-like. i think it has a touch of...i don't know...so much so of people who always update their photos not only for their relatives to see but all of their 149 friends. like is that even possible? peace . when i was writing online for an online publication there is always an online link. that was almost everyday. and that was earning. some people just post and post and post just to say they're having spam and eggs for dinner. like, so...?

I dont use facebook for myself but I do use my brothers for the games! He has some strange things written on his wall and so do his friends! This is one of the main reasons why I would rather not have a Facebook account! I agree iit is pointless, if your that bothered send a text or ring them! I think tho with some people its jealousy they want people to know its their man/woman!

hi jj, it is easy to say that - anywhere and to anyone. people tend to be very open nowadays so i guess it is just being openly friendly. and probably they find it cute to address each other that way. you think otherwise? ann

jugs, i don't think it is that stupid, though, i wouldn't prefer to write such things on the wall... it's an individual's choice of course, and i don't really find anything to be that critical about... anyone may wish to let others know how much he/she loves his/her partner or may like to please his/her partner by making such declarations in the wall... i'm actually indifferent to such declarations...

I've joined facebook for months and the only thing i will write on the walls is my feeling abt everything but love. I don't feel like saying things like i love u, which is a private thing to me, to anyone in front of the whole world. But I don't mind others doing that if that's what they want.

Bearing in mind that I do not do facebook, I will just be general. People who are so busy proclaiming their love in public places are pretty insecure. They have to prove to the whole world that they are worthy of someone's (anyone's) love that they have to smear it everywhere. Just in case you thought they did not have someone.

LOL. I was on a social networking site once and these people I have on my list did that. Then, I wrote on my wall and blasted people who do that LOL. I just said delete me because I won't take the time to find you on my list to delete you. You're not that important but you tick me off. Get a bloody room or send eachother personal messages. I'm a grouch sometimes LOL.

Well, that should not bother you, that was a private message but somehow they did not know how to use wall to wall option,They must be really in love with each other One thing about this facebook is that while your are playing you can chat or vice versa.
