Hi,
I mean, is the right person is on right position or not.
Why i am asking this, my one friend is master in life science, he was joined as scientist, but later on he was being shifted to analytical field and he was not familiar with that area.finally he left the job and joined somewhere else.
This happen with so many people, they are experts in one area but working in another field may be because of any reason.
Are u on right field.

No, my current job is not suitable for me, however, I am happy with the job as I can put my excellent in my job as I would have wanted to apply in the job in my own field. I am always looking at the prospects to move back to my own field, however, I am satisfied with this job as well.

My previous educational experience is really way way not related to my current work now but I am happy. Its just a matter of accepting your work now and enjoying everything about it (=

No, when it comes to job and education, I have to say that I am not a lucky man because my current work is out of my field.
In fact, there are many people who have met such a situation where their current jobs have nothing with their education in colleges. So, some people hold the idea that education is useless or just a wast of time and money. For the keen competition in our country, it is really a difficult task for graduates to hunt for a job relevant to their majors.
There are many reasons that determine if you can find a job that is suitable for your educational qualification.

Hi,
yes, there are so many peoples who are working out of their field. Reason may different but many times personal interest is dominant.

This is very common. Economists call this 'skilled unemployment.' That is, these individuals are degree qualified but there are not enough jobs that are in this field when they graduate. Now, this is as a result of there being in an oversupplied field, where demand is far too low.
Unfortunately for you're friend, science degrees like a life science major is extremely oversupplied. This is mainly because it is too easy to get into such degrees, I don't mean to be condescending here, but its a fact, too many people are able to do these degrees and there aren't enough jobs to satisfy this supply.
Degrees such as medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, etc mainly the health disciplines are the best route to a guaranteed job after graduation. Accounting, finance, law etc are also good but not excellent. General degrees such as BSc, BArts, etc are first degrees you need to do a graduate degree in a profession to have better job prospects beyond entry level analytical jobs.

Many people that I know seems to be in different industries
from what they graduated from. Some of them ended up doing different
major or degree due to being given a different course from what they applied
for. So, in this scenario they won't enjoy working in the field given. They
tend to switch job. Some of them after started working for a year, then they
realised that is not what they want. Some will pursue further studies to the
industries that they prefer.
However, I am a diploma holder for accountancy and investment. However,
I prefer sales / marketing job

I think I am in the right field. However, I think i am under qualified if you look at my credentials in a paper stand point. My boss thinks I have potential to grow so I am "growing" into my position or educating myself further because I have a position. I got to where I am because of hard work and determination and not because of some degree because I have yet to get mine.

it is in your hands to choose the stream of study whether it is sciences or any thing else.initially no one would be placed in the exact stream infact u got to work out initially as to which stream u can do the best nd then decide after u gain experience.gud day.

Yes, fortunately I am in the right field. It is perfect for my college degree, it is what I like to do, the hours work for me, of course I could use a little more money but no job is perfect. All in all I think I am right on target for me experience level, interest level and education level.

Definitely mo job isn't suitable for my educational qualification. I am a mechanical technican and actually work as a directional secretary....go figure.... but I prefer to be a secretary. I have worked as a mechanics and to be honest I'm tired and fed up with fighting with men when I don't even want to fight but they feel they need to...I tell you what, I let someone else fight with them, I've had enough.

My current job is way far from my degree . It is something I took because I wanted something different from what I have studied. I enjoy my job even if it is not the same as my college course. I still have jobs on the side though which is related to my field of study.
