There are people who do good things because they were kind. But others do good just because they want to be noticed. Whatever their motive is, a person who do good things will end up being familiar to other people. Many will adore and like them. Some people enjoys the fame, but others not. How about you?

I have never been one for the limelight. I don't like to have attention put on me. I would find it quite embarrassing and I rather do without it. If I do favors or good deeds for people I don't need others to adore me or pat in on the back. I do things for others out of the goodness of my heart and that is it.

when helping other people theres no need to be noticed. For me silence is much better because i know God will bless me more and the rewrd is with Him. Being notice becase of good works is being boasful for me. I dont admire people doing good works yet let them self publish in media to gain fame and support!

You're right... I hope the politicians have the same perspective---like at this moment when the election is coming!

I know what you mean. This is sad. I can tell for myself that I have always been a reclusive person, shying off from the limelight, loving the background presence. So much so that my friends feel that I should be little more smart and evocative of my doings. Fame and glory is something I would not mind if its justified and if I earn it truly. Otherwise the fakes and falsities would kill my conscience.

I feel the same way. I most likely would go to the backstage if I were to be a part of a play. I don't know why.

I personally don't care, I do good for others just to do good for others. If people see me they see me. whenever I help someone out, I want the person I'm helping to benefit from it. I don't expect anything in return. I just look out for the less fortunate

Owww... That's sweet. I also want the feeling when you are helping other people. It doesn't matter if you don't get noticed. Just to see how happy the person you're helping is enough to make you feel good about what you've done.

if I can do something great, then that must be the work that I love! so I do not care about fame ,do not care others' noticing! all I want is the joy that I get from my work!

Yeah, that's right. Even if you become famous, if you do not like or love what you're doing...Then all the fame isn't worth it.

That's nice. In order to have a good result on what you're doing, you really have to be enjoying it...

Dear Friend; I had an invention (electric bike) first of its kind in my city. Government authorities awarded me for that. Received a certificate and a medal. I never did it for such rewards and fruits I know it in my heart but when news people interviewed me and people congretulated me, I liked it. I think it is quite natural for being a humanbeing we need self realization. Right? Sincerely Naeem

actually I don't like to be famous.I can't stand being hounded by the press people.I don't want them to broadcast to the world what I am doing.even if I am doing charity work,I rather not have it announced to the whole world.when I get famous with my good deeds, the press would like to get more information and will try to mingle with my personal life.I can't stand the whole fame thing.I value my privacy and don't appreciate people getting nosy.

RIght. I know what you mean. It's exactly the way I feel. I don't really want other people, especially strangers, to try in invading my personal and private life. Though in my case, it's hard to get the kind of private life that I want. soo sad...

People do kind acts because they want to be kind. And whether or not they become popular or humble, a kind act was done. You should have good intentions when you are helping people. Yes. Could the act of helping people help yourself?
