Do you look like your pictures?

I have never liked to have my picture made. Guess it looks too much like me.lol. I have always felt silly smiling at a camera. I want someone that smiles at me to smile at them.

I know my good side, and usually stick to it, but after a while it looks boring. So I do try different poses, some I end up liking. As for the others, I think I look better in real life than in images.

Hello my friend ronnyb Ji, I think you are talking about'inner-picture' of your body. When person stands infront of wall mirror and forms impression about oneself, one will always know and images formed in one's mind may change one's attitude in one's way. I know about myself. I hate to break this to you ronnyb, but pictures don't lie. They might add a few pounds to your appearance, but, what you see in a picture, is what you look like. The way we see ourselves, and the way other people see us are different. You might not like the way your pictures look, but, the sad truth is, that's what you look like. I've never liked to have my picture taken, but I don't like what I look like either. Especially now that I'm getting older. Like it or not, photographs don't lie.

I don't like very much taking pictures, as most of the people do not know how to make the one in the picture looks nice. How they position the camera is very important. Moreover, they should tell us how to post when looking through the camera. As a result, most of the non-professional people not taking good portriat. Scenary is always easier. I was often disappointed when looking at my pictures. They made me look ugly. :(

I am very strong to myself.Because i know how looks very good photo.And not always my picture is good.Normaly i think when you make 1000 slides then maybe some 5-10 is good.

The only picture I like of myself is when I was 7.Back then i was truly happy and it shows in the picture.All others seem forced. As if I am just posing for the picture.I hate taking pictures.

Not always. Sometimes it looks much better and sometimes looks like another people.

I guess that that the pictures do look like me because it is me, there is nothing wrong with the camera usually, so whether I like it or not the face looking back from the photo has to be me! I imagine that the majority of us do not view ourselves the way others see us because I believe that the image we see in the mirror is not exactly the way other people view us. I don’t always like photographs of myself but I have to accept that that is the way I look although some times the camera can immortalise certain expressions that as not as flattering as our normal look!

i don't think so because most people do tell me that i am not photogenic and they prefer seeing me real than looking at me in the pictures and there are some pictures i take which i think they are quite lovely and i see myself more lovely in the picture than real life

I have never felt extremely photogenic. I would rather be the photographer than the photo subject. I have very few pictures of myself that i can say I'm happy with.

well , i also have very few pictures of me which can actually say , yes thats me , i don't know why it happes ,i never get much good pictures of me , i am not too fat or too skinny even after don't get good images it happens guys i know , it happens with many people.........

There's a time that I hate my pictures that doesn't look like me. I think it will be depended on the angle of your pictures. Sometimes, the lens of the camera can see what the other people can't see. Good shot or bad shot of yours, it's still you unless you edit it.

hi,there!i also have the same proble sometimes.so i dont like being taken picts.it doesnt mean i am ugly,actually people around me say i am good-looking.but why doesnt the pic look like me?i think maybe the light and the angle have a big relationship with the pics' quality,plus the photographers are also important!^-^

If I'm looking in front of my mirror and then looking at my picture collection then trying to compare them if I do look like the images of my pictures. Sometimes yes it is but sometimes it kind of different. I guess a better explanation about it is the angles of how the camera was shot. For some reasons are the lenses of you camera, you have to know that images when reflected to any glass materials tends to expand or some twisting changes effects.

LOL funny description of your photos you just described there. Sorry. Well, yes, my photos do look like me most of the time unless the lighting is off or the flash is too bright, then I'd look too white. I have dark eyes so I don't have the "red" glare on the eyes when I take photos. I have lots of pictures but I don't post them just anywhere. I like my anonymity.

Hello, Ronnyb! Most of my pictures look like me, simply because I also deleted those that are not so good. Hahah! Actually, I love taking pictures of myself. I'm a picture addict, whenever someone is taking picture, I make sure that I'm on the front, with my unique pose. I know what the right angle suits my face and how to project my best smile. :) I actually practice a lot of times in front of the mirror. =)

Hi friend,i dont have this kind of problem,sometimes i feel that the pose or lighting effect is not good,try with good camera resolution power so that you will feel good.

sometimes I don't look the same because of fast aging process heat and other things that affects you skin and also the environment and setting where your picture is taken.
