I have thinking about all of talk about the world ending in 2012. I know they made a movie about it and scientics have made a theroy show about it on the discovery channel. I hope the world does not end. I want go live alittle longer. I know that scientist have said alot of things in the past but they have not happened. I just hope they are wrong about there theroy about 2012. I want to be alive and well. Everytime I watch something on the discovery channle about 2012 scientist are always tring to scare you with their theorys and get us all riled up. I hate it. I don't want to worry about these things but it seems scientists drill bad thoughts in your brain and I hate it! I wish they wouldn't talk about stuff with out knowing the real deal. I have come to the conclusion They love to scare crap out of us so that it gives us something to think about. When they talk about their theroy they can have the whole world in a uproar. That is what scientist want. They have got me scared and frighten about 2012.

No, I don't thin the world will end in 2012. I think that it is just another scare tactic like was used in 2000 with the whole Y2K fiasco. It's definitely an interesting theory that the Mayans had, but I think we're safe to make it through til 2013.

Only God knows when HE's going to end this world that we're living. On my part, I guess that the end is near. Its written in the Bible that this world will suffer fom a lot of calamities, epidemics, wars, famine and evil deeds will get worst. These are signs that the end is near, just right in front of our door. We have to admit, that we are already suffering from these signs. IWe just have to be prepared, I mean, repent from our sins, live a new life the way that God wanted it and turn back again to Him. We cannot avoid " end of the world". We still have time to change for good and be saved from His judgement and to have an everlasting life. God Bless!

I don't think so . At least i don't hope so.But if we don't change our lifestyle in order to decrease global warming, we will end ourselves in our own hands. Only we can save human beings from the fate of extinction.

No way will the world end in 2012. Do a little research my friend to get the scare away from you. There have been at least 100 times in the past when the human population has said the world is coming to an end. (Especially in the year 666. Quite scary to have lived then I must say. lol) But really, if the world ends in a way, it will wither be by God, or war. Not a stupid prophecy by some Mayan Calendar.

I dont think that the world will end in 2012 really its just a bunch of hype the rest of all the media. I think its just to get us prepared to accept change in the world.

No, I don't think the world will end in 2012. It is the end of Mayan calendar but not the end of the world. I am sure we'll all still be here myLotting after this date. But what is true is that this idea has worked well for the director and stars of the movie with the same title, 2012, it is such a blockbuster despite the movie's shallow storyline and overused end-of-days scenarios, the movie is a crap people love to watch.

I think there's too my hype about the world ending on 2012 because of that movie. Even if it were to end, is there anything anyone can really do about it? I don't think so. I always say, live life to its fullest. This is just another one of those "Oh My God We're Gonna Die Soon" moments. I remember similar discussions between people I know when the movie "Armageddon" came out. Then, again, Nostradamus was mentioned, prophecies and so on so forth. I don't think anyone can really predict the end of the world. I could be wrong but I dont stress over what I can't control.

Dont get scared.Think well...Its just a movie man.its made to enjoy and thrill us.To be on positive side the movie has scared a lot.Thats what good movies are meant to do.I personally dont feel its all going to end in 2012.If at all it happens its not in my or your hands. Its all upto the power above us.If it happens we have to accept it.thats all. There is no point in being scared and getting others scared thats all.enjoy movies dont beleive in them

The memain whoever you spell that predicated the world will end in 2000, because i remember everybody praying in 1999 and doing good deeds. 2000 came and went by and nothing happened at all. So dont believe the calender, that the memains made. But you should know this there would be a solar storm in December 2012 which would be really deadly will knock out electronics basically a blackout.

I think it's a bunch of bunk. Penn & Teller devoted an entire episode of their show Bull*hit to this myth. It's not even in the Mayan calendar as people keep pretending it is. I think it's just another scare tactic like Y2K. However, it might be advisable, as it is for general life to keep a stash of emergency supplies and cash because ATM might not work in an emergency (as might occur). It is unlikely, but it never hurts to be prepared.

I don't think the world will end by 2012. Many people predicted that the world will go to an end by 2000. What happened? Now, we are living in 2009. I heard about the movie 2012, which talks about the end of world in 2012. I would like to watch it. We had a discussion about this topic yesterday during lunch break. It seems the Mayan calendar ends at 2012.

I find it kind of sad that such beliefs can still latch onto a large group of people in this time. We're in the 21st century here. I'm almost certain that no credible 'scientist' thinks the world will end in 2012; there is no evidence for such. NASA has even stated on their website that no large asteroids or any objects are projected to hit Earth any time in the near future, nor major solar flares, so logically what else could happen to us? The answer is nothing.
I'm just confused as to why our culture can still hold silly beliefs. We need to analyze the facts, and not rely on what other people say as truth all the time.

I think 2012 will markedly be the dawn of a new era
the world will not just stop turning and we all die
it will be a gradual thing that could take a very long time
it will be the beginning of the end
I dont have to believe the scientists
not when there were so many different civilizations around the world that around the same time predicted the same event based on what they had already come to know about this earth

It's just a show.
To catch our attention is the objecttive.
You don't have to be serious.
The kinda show is just like adv.
Do you believe adv?
I think the answer is NO.
So don't believe the trash from "scientists".
And you already know to have the whold world in a uproar is what scientist want.
Just take it easy.

If you remember what the bible says, you will not listen to any predictions. There a lot to happen before the end of the world and a lot of them is not yet happening. We all be reunited first before the end of the world.
