Do you enjoy doing the house work?

I love to do some house work but not the whole house because it is no fun when i get tired due to house work.

Well I did not like to do it at some point in my youth, but as it turns out it does not happen by itself so it has to be done, now I like it, and gives me a feeling of pride for what I have and is comfortable.

Not me. I have much better things to do than house work

I do not enjoy doing housework although my house is small and its easy to clean it, I rather sleep than to clean it. But if it is necessary for me to help to clean it I can do it. I can wipe the floor eventhough I hate it. i can clean the restroom as long as I have gloves and Ihave a complete set of cleaner. I can wash the dishes and I can do the laundry I love the smell of detergent. And while I am cleaning the house it is necessary that I have a music as a background so that I will enjoy what I am doing and to forget the time I have wasted doing it. But it seldom happen to me because I am lazy. My mother do the cleaning of the house actually.

I think it is a lot better to enjoy doing housework then to despise it as when you despise doing housework your not going to want to do it, it becomes a chore, and something you (anyone) puts off until the last minute when there's more to clean. I don't like doing housework but I realize how it is to put it off til the last minute, and though I don't have many chores to do, when my husband and I get our own place I will be doing all the chores, as well as the chores for his great grandmother's... So I need to take a crash course in enjoying chores! lol!

the only thing i like when doing the housework is the outcome. Seeing the places youve cleaned squeeky clean is a nice reward.

For me, it definately depends on what part of the housework it is. I personally do not mind Vacuming, or doing laundry and always seem to keep on top of that, but in other things like doing the dishes, or cleaning the bathroom I would rather have someone else do that for sure. But since moving into our New house I make sure I get stuff done and kept on top of for sure, but I could never imagine wanting to do housework over other things all of the time for sure.

Yes I enjoy doing my Housework and always have Now I live alone I do not have to do it every Day as much as I would like but because of my Illness can't anyway, but when the Children where little and even though I worked I still loved doing my Housework, at the weekends I used to clean the House from top to bottom

Not me hate it but I do have help so we get it done fast! then we can go outside or wathc tv

i hate it with a passion.not so much the act of doing it,but the fact it only stays that way a short time.i have some pigpens running around here.

I'd prefer to do the gardening than the housework but, if only I could get a few days to myself to get stuck into it properly without anyone messing it up as I go, I'd enjoy the sense of achievement after.

I hate doing house work perhaps it is teh most hated thing for me.I try my best to keep my place clean but I wont say that it is spotlessly clean but on a good level.I dont have a routine which dictates that I do a particular type of work at a particular time,I just ensure that I do what I can all the time to keep the place clean adn every now and then I do THOROUGH clean by moving everything and sweepin all the corners

I love doing the house work and keeping everything nice and clean.I expect you think that strange.Seeing the washing on the line blowing and doing the ironing all clean fresh and put away.I also enjoy going for coffee with friends or out to lunch.It is in me to look after my family and take great pride in doing so.

Not me, lol. I don't like doing the housework at all. I can always seem to find something that I would rather be doing than the housework. I mean, there are certain household tasks that I don't mind as much as the others, like washing the laundry and cooking, but then there are others that I absolutely dispise doing, like the dishes and shampooing the carpet. I think a big part of the reason that I don't enjoy the dishes is that it has always bothered my hands and the fact that it seems that I am always the one stuck doing that particular task.

No. Doing house work was always a boring thing for me. It is monotonous. But we have to do that as family is dependent on us for eating and the house is ours so we have to maintain it. So keep a servant for cleaning and washing work and do the rest for yourself. If you can afford, keep a cook also.

Not my favorite thing to do. But I can't stand dust all over things. I have to have a clean house. It is a necessary evil that I force myself to do.

I dont love it very much but I don't like to have a messy place too so, as much as I can, I really clean everyday, wash dishes, fold clothes, and dusting furnitures etc....If I will not do it, no one else will... Not that I enjoy but just part of my routine!

Hi there Jugs, I have to say that I actually do kind of like cleaning my place and making it to look good. I get in moods where I just put on some good tunes and just go right thru and clean everything. Now that I don't have little kids running about, it isn't getting undone as quickly as I clean it so it isn't so frustrating anymore. Of course there are some chores that I really don't like doing such as cleaning the oven but that doesn't have to be done too often thankfully.

Same is here too..I don't like doing household works.. Rather I love sitting ideal instead of doing these works. The most terrible part,in my opinion is, works that cannot be done with out water. But still,I have to do these works in order to help my mom when our domestic maid is not comming for work.
