Dear friend, When I was a kid I was very much scared to watch horror movies. But after I became a teen I was much interested to watch horror movies alone, actually I get that thrilling effect when I watch horror movie alone. It was really a thrilling experience for me to watch horror movies alone after midnight. I really enjoy that thrill which I get very rarely when my parents are not at home.

I don't understand how it is a person can enjoy horror movies, as it is so close to the reality of life itself and how it translates from real life scenarios. No way I hate horror movies, I don't care for them.

I do not like scary movies all that much and will get scared. If I had to walk or drive home on my own I'd be sure to either bring a flashlight for walking or I would have the radio on! My husband doesn't like scary movies either, so I doubt we'll ever watch any.

I don't like horror films at all.Watching a good thriller is what I like getting, right into the plot with no one to disturb me.

I am not afraid of watching horror movie. I know it is not true and it is only a friction. But my daughter is afraid of it. In the night she will come to my room to sleep. She says she is afraid and cannot remain alone in her room.

They don't bother me. I really like the older ones sometimes more than the current ones. The current ones rely on blood, fore, and cg where the old ones let you use your imagination.

I do watch them as well. I actually prefer to watch it on my own because I can understand the story better rather than have someone noisy beside me because they couldnt stand to watch it. Though I do love to watch those who are afraid of horror movies. So whenever my friends and I watch something scary, its either Im really not that interested in the movie or Ive already watched it so that I can have my attention more on my friends' scared faces so I can tease them about it, then we'll just laugh about them being scared which makes the sleepover more fun than it really is. Its also 'safe' to watch horror movies alone because when there are those movie effects that really surprises us that we seem to jump out of our skin, no one will be there to laugh at us but ourselves.^_^

I usually watch horror movies with my husband. I don't think I would watch them on my own, we live in a very isolated area and at night you can't see a single light out of our windows. So I think if I watched a horror movie I would be too creeped out by every noise and creak in the house, and would be very aware that I am very far from help! Eek!

I love to watch horror movies when I am home alone. It depends on what kind of horror movie I am watching or I am scared afterwards or not. Zombiemovies are more comedies, I really laugh all the time with this kind of movies. Movies with serial killers can be thrilling, but I am not scared afterwards. I only am scared after a horror movie about ghosts. It really give me thrills sometimes and a hard time to sleep.

I don't even watch horror movies when I am NOT alone. I am still recoiling from seeing that old black and white one from the sixties where the girl gets murdered in the shower. Bleagghh. I didn't want to take a shower for months. I made family members call out to me every few minutes every time I went in the shower after seeing Psycho. Probably that is a tame movie by today's standards.

I don't watch horror movies at all. I don't like them one bit and find them horrifying and scary. Besides, we have enough cruelty in this world, no need to add more ideas for kids to use. Instead, our kids need to learn tolerance and respect, not to mutilate and harm. No pun intended. I just don't like or agree with those types of movies.

the fear will be only for some time that is probably throughout the running length of the movie then it fades away.. i do watch a lot of horror movies..most of the time i watch alone, because if some one is with me, they tend to disturb me every time and i cannot concentrate on the film.. i will be scared only for the movie length and after that i will be normal..so im on my own after watching up a horror movie.. thanks.. happy mylotting

No I do not watch horror movies alone and also do not watch them with my husband. I do now care for horror movies. I would rather watch a mystery or drama movie.

I never watch a horror movie, not to mention watch them alone. I got frighten by the horrible scene and keep thinking it afterwards. I feel really scared if I am sleeping alone, and most likely having nightmare. My husband teased me that I am a coward. LOL You are really brave, Jugs
