I have fibromyalgia and sometimes really feel bad. Some doctos says it in the mind and do not beieve it is so and they do not know much what to say or do for it. I know those who have this react in diffeant way. I have problems sleeping sometimes and pain in differant ways depends alot on what I do. Have you known of any one having this at all differant ages and maybe babys to? If so how would they know? So sad to see children in pain..and they cannot explain it.

I am going almost ten years with fibromyalgia. Nothing seems to work for the pain.

USually fibro pain some from something traumatic happening to your system. For me I had radiation, and that is what triggered it for me.

Definitely not for babies, possible for children. Since they are so active in play situations, but it is a minor condition. As compared to fibromyalgia. I guess you need to continue physical therapy treatment.

"All in my head!" Ohhhh, when ever I hear a doc say something like that I'm about ready to slap him! I am not pretending to be in pain! And once I asked my doc if he thought I was making it up, he said "no, you really do have what you say, you are not a hypochondriac." I'm glad my doc knows this. However, having had problems as a child and young person, the pains I had were ENTIRELY different than what I have with fibro - pain - yes, but different. I think children might have pain related to allergies (I now know mine were) but I really don't think the kind of pain I have from fibro is the same. Lord knows, tho, if I had my allergies properly addressed as a child, I might not have fibro now.
