Bantayan Island is located on the Northern part of Cebu. It has small island but with a very clean beaches and a wide-long shore line which makes the island famous of. The accomodations are very affordable that many of our fellow Filipinos mostly Cebuanos are coming there and a lot of businessman built their business along the shoreline such as resorts. You can scroll the island for a day or two and i assure you that it's worth a smile. During Holy week, they celebrated their annual fiesta and the island is very crowded and full of fun because a lot of people coming to the island to celebrate the fiesta and witnessed their must see Bikini Open which makes the island controversial. How do we get there from Cebu City? Go to the Northern Bus Terminal located on the North Reclamation Area walking distant from SM Mall and ask the operator which bus travels to Hagnaya. From Hagnaya, take a shuttle going to Sta. Fe, Bantayan Island and the fare takes from 150 - 250 per person. And when you arrive at the island, you can see a lot of locals are offering accomodation and choose where you want to stay.
