health care program is with our government subsidee while a health insurance plan is from private companies I think this is more convenient than the heath plan but it is more expensive.

A health care program is how you provide the care needed. A health insurance plan is a way of paying for the care needed. They are two separate issues with very different resolutions. At the same time they are interconnected because there needs to be a way to pay for the care you receive. One of the big issues that has not been addressed in the health care overall in how to provide the care to the newly insured people. There is no provision for how we are going to increase the need for doctors, nurses, x-ray technicians, phlebotomists and so on. We cannot increase the amount of care provided with the same system we have in place. So we have only addressed one half of the issue because the health care program side is being ignored so that Obama can stay "budget neutral".
