I hope your son doesn't catch the swine flu. In my impression, usually one of the swine flu symptoms is high fever. Since your son just has slight fever, so I think it is common flu. Take plenty of water and have a good rest. I think it will be helpful. In fact I don't feel well since this Friday night. I have some cold symptoms and I don't know the difference between the flu. I have the sore throat and running nose. But I haven't had the fever yet. So I think this is not the swine flu. I hope I can get well soon because I don't feel well.
I love China

I wouldn't imagine so. I think a lot of people are freaking out about the swine flu and H1N1 and forget that just because, yes, a lot of THAT is going around, that doesn't mean that people can't just get NORMAL colds. It's not like the only kind of sickness that exists these days is the flu. *shrugs*. I don't necessarily know the symptoms or anything of swine flu - and I'm not a doctor..So I can't diagnose via MyLot.
. But the best thing to do, of course, is probably take him in to the doctor's if he's still not feeling well in a day or so, just to be on the safe side.

This may be just the regular seasonal flu. The fever may break on its own, let him rest and see if he can break it himself. They have said that many will have the seasonal flu, when to worry is when the flu-like symptoms will go away, then come back with a higher fever and worse cough. If he will not drink fluids, wake up or interact, fever with a rash, bluish color skin and trouble or fast breathing immediately take him in. If it has only been one day, I would see how he is tomorrow. Just take all the precautions and wash your hands frequently, and hope for the best.
If you still have worries, you could call your doctor and see what he tells you to do.
Good luck and I wish your son well.

i don't think so because a swine flu is for pigs only... maybe you mean AH1N1... but i don't think so... maybe he only has a usual flu... the best thing to do is go him for a check up with a doctor....
