why bars have parking lots????????

if driving while u r drunk z illegal then why these bars have parking lots???at a time we r prohibiting driving while drunk then we r providing spaces to the vehicles.....

If I go to the pub/bar with friends we always have a designated driver, we take it in turns to decide who will be the driver on that night. The driver will NOT drink anything but will still come out to the pub/bar with us, so needs a parking space.
Also sometimes in the summer I take my kids for a pub meal. I don't drink then. I don't know if its different in your country, but in mine many bars serve food and are family friendly
