When I am a newbie, I also have such question. When your responses or topics reach one hundred, you will have star ranks. Then your unit price will be higher than now. I rember that I try to write responses for the goal of one hundred posts. Then my posts are not very high, so when mine reach 100, my star ranks are not high. So I suggest you don't worry about the result, you continue to write quality articles, maybe your star ranks will reach nine stars. It is a better star ranks.

There are two things which I hope you will become aware of here.
One is that no-one knows exactly how the earnings work except Admin and the second is that it is up to us how our earnings are affected. Our star will affect earnings because if it is a higher one we will earn more than if it was lower. The star is decided depending upon how many plusses our posts receive from other users.
If we always post interesting, informative posts they will earn better than one line (which is probably worth nothing) and will be more likely to receive plusses from others.

Well how and when does your earnings get affected is impossible to say here on myLot, as myLot administrators have kept the formula away from the public. Which I think is a good way of keeping members active and site running with quality content. On reaching 100 posts you'll receive a reputation star which will show your rating on myLot. It usually means how good your content or posts are rated on a scale of 1 to 10 for every 100 posts that you make.
