Usually we make ours with pork or chicken as the meat. Then we either use a pkg of frozen broccoli or mixed veggies in it. And of course the eggs & soy sauce....
Do you like it better with brown or white rice? I've only done it in brown thus far.
What meats & veggies do you like to use in yours?
Anything else you like to include in your fried rice?

I love my fried rice with fried garlic bits on it. Carrots and some veges like shredded cabbage is optional too. I also want it with tidbits of fried eggs and probably small size of pork. Hmmm, love it!

What kind of cabbage do you use in yours? That sounds like a good addition as well. Though usually our cabbage isn't usually on sale around here other than around St. Patrick's Day.

Green domestic cabbage will do! We have lots of it. Don't know much about US holidays. Sorry. When is St. Patrick's day?

Hi. I normally add egg and hotdog bits to my fried rice. I don't normally add any other meats and veggies but I normally eat it with fried or smoked fish.

We do pork fried rice, we've usually used white rice, but the last time we made it with brown. We'll add peas, carrots, egg, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.

in a rice country like that of the philippines almost everything left over from last ight is added to rice. however, there are some rice mixes that is almost non-stop in development, not surprisingly, in a country like ours and the ora mix of bagoong (salted fermented fish) is the best. the smell is glorious and this can go by itself. no kidding! besides, eventhough am allergic to too much salt i can eat this type of fried rice again and again .

I've always made fried rice with SHRIMP! Made it with white rice, and added egg and peas. YUM!!
