I have always been a fan of reality shows. I have avidly followed a few such as The Amazing Race, Survivor series, even Fear Factor. And there has always been whispers that the show is somehow manipulated by the producers to gain more audience or for whatever reason they have.
If you are aware of the recent change in the PBB Double Up regarding the switch of the girl housemates, I don't get what they could possibly achieve by breaking up the original housemates from House A. Or are the people behind the show deaf and mute to the response of the people to the people in House A.
I do have a few ideas why these recent changes were effected but I'd like to hear other's opinions. I have heard that some people are even thinkin of stoppin of watching the show until the girls housemates are allowed to be back to their original houses.

Oh I really think that is part if the game. BB has ideas of soliciting reactions from the housemates once their comfort zones are broken. Will camaraderie happening be broken to with the alliances being broken apart? I think it is pretty interesting that this mixups are being done. They are like being tested on their emotions on how they can adjust to the new setups. In real life this happens but not as dramatic as this one. For this change I am watching and observing how the dynamics in the new grouping will go.

All we are seeing in here are really raw emotions from the housemates. Although it is a bit edited already because there are things not appropriate on TV. That is why it is pretty interesting to know and witness their reactions in there. The mixups is really to test the emotions and bonds created inside the house. I think that would make lots of controversies and adjustments in their emotional attachments to one another. The Story of Melay and Jason is also interesting that they have develop and blossomed into something unique. Rica's emotional outburst was also very interesting to see in there as I see her as having very strong personality but now it seems the soft side of him is showing already.

They are definitely part of the Big Four for me. They have come to the Big Brother house and have shown strength, character, and respect. I have nothing bad to say about them, they seem like real people to me, they are not acting just to make themselves look good, they simply are.

Of course, my first reaction was "NO !" but after seeing how the change has affected the house mates, it is quite interesting and revealing so I guess it makes the show more interesting.
I was especially surprised to also find myself in tears always when Rica or Melai would almost break down and cry about missing their fellow house mates.

Hi there, im not really a crazy fan of PBB. The only reason why i watch the show is because of the Melisa-Jason (melason) love team..i find them fun and cute and they're the reason why the show is worth to watch for. I hate the big switch really, i don't get it why they have to do it when i know they are quite aware that their rating is high because of them and the house A, of course they're part of it. And now i don't know if the Mariel-jason team-up will work. And yes some of the fans from a local site commented that they cried watching the switch and will stop watching the show..i don't know if they ever will do it since i know everyday they will be hoping to see our fave team up in the show. Since i don't watch it every night, i think i will have to check online if something good comes up with my favorite housemates :D

Yeah, I've been hearing a lot of negative reactions to the switching of the girl housemates. But it seems to be going well, as it has been quite revealing to watch as how each housemate reacted to the changes. Some really took it well and others just failed miserably, failed as in they have really shown their not-so-good side.
Again, it seems to prove that Kuya really does know what he's doing !
Although the fans think otherwise
The change they say, will be for 2 weeks and it seems to long for Melai and Jason to be apart. I think that it is a good time for them to sort out their feelings for each other.
I am sure that Kuya has something cooking for their reunion. I can't wait.
Did you get to watch this night's primetime episode?
Big Brother was egging Melissa and Jason to admit how they feel about each other. Kuya talked to Melissa and Jason separately.

No i haven't seen it yet. I think i will be watching only the Melissa and Jason part.. My sister was complaining that last night's episode was not a good show because the other housemates are not so open with the switch. I think now i get why big brother did the switch, he wants the people to see want the housemates' real attitudes are. And it shows that the original house B has really a bad attitude..no offense but i love the original house A ;P

No offense taken You can trash talk them all for all I care. I am also a fan of the original House A. I've gotten quite used to hear so many bad things said about the HOuse B. They don't seem to realize that they are being watched, or rein in their true nature, they could at least play it safe but no they're just so clueless that so many people disapprove of them.

I like the original house A members. Their bonding is quite strong and the way they accept their defeat is inspiring. But house B is a sore loser group especially Yuri, Mariel and Rob! They keep saying bad things about the other house when they lose but you will never hear house A blame them if they lose.
I think they switch the girls to find out which of the housemate will react properly and which of them will have a bad mouth. In my own observation Yuri is the number one with a bad mouth, she's a bad influence to all the girls from house B. In the house B Patrick is quite disappointing with the way he reacts to the new girls. I thought he's a mature person but it seems that he was just over powered by Yuri. Rocky is quite a racist agaisnt Rica. This is just my observation on PBB Double Up. I think the people behind the show wants to explore the personality of each housemates by these changes. They just want to see and the viewers which of the housemates has the right to stay. But I think in this simple casting of votes...it's sad to say that many of us don't know how to vote wisely

I really wasn't expecting the boys house mates from House B to react in that way. They seem to have forgotten that they are being filmed and their reactions will be aired and viewed by many viewers even by the families of the girl house mates from House A, and that later when they get out of Kuya's house, the house mates will get to know everything the boys said behind their backs.
I am not expecting any of the boys from House B to survive once they get nominated. I am sure that loyal fans of the girl house mates from House A will be supportive of their favorite house mates.

Yes it seems that the original house A had a healthier relationship and they were supportive of each other, not using each other unlike the housemates from house B.
And I especially like how Kuya noww has given us the power/option to evict someone we, the viewers someone we don't care too much about.
