Do You Still Own or Carry an Organizer?

I never really did. I keep a calander with a magnet on it on my refrigerator so I can just look there to see about appointments and such. I do have some phone numbers on my cell phone though, but I still keep most of the phone numbers in a phone book. Because I am not going to call anyone other than a couple of people from my cell phone since I pretty much only use it for emergencies.

Hi, m. I use a journal to write down my important dates in. I used to have an organizer once. But now that I have a busy life and schedule, I just use my journal to write my to do list in. I have a reserved journal for appointments and meetings, etc;.

I just use the one in my cellphone. I have my calendar set to remind me of certain things on certain dates, and when the alarm goes off sometimes right on time, sometimes ahead of time to give me time to prepare for whatever it's reminding me of, I am ready to do whatever I need to do. I have different notifications set to remind me of different things, so I know what the reminder is even before I read the calendar note.

I do still carry around a planner, even though I have a blackberry. I like to write things down, as the act of physically writing things helps me remember them. I am pretty savvy with my phone, but I just have never felt right about using it as my organizer, aside from keeping phone numbers there. Call me old fashioned, but I like my pencil and paper planning!

I have to say yes. I do own one but hardly bring it everywhere since my bag is so heavy already which by the way is full of my sons toys or psp. I love keeping one because it just brings back alot of memories since nowadays people hardly uses pens since everything is done thru the internet or if not thru the phone. I have chosen to not get a newer phone to separate myself fromt he rest of the population who does everything thru the phone. My samsung broke down on me a month or two back and it was devastating. I say that because I tried to put all of the applications I need on that phone but due to certain idiots out there who attempted to fix it without knowing anything about it. Basically, I still do own one and is intending to keep one every year just so i can scribble notes of anything and everything there.

i used to have organizer notebook when i was in college but with the advent of mobile phone and PDA i trashed my old school organizer and shift to this techs. gadgets, it's much easy to used, compact and convenient...

Actually this is funny that you ask this. I am recording all of my appointments, my mylot post number, and bills in my organizer as we type.I use my cell for phone numbers and certain other things, but I love my organizers because they keep special dates like first steps and things for legal reasons too. I once wrote down everytime I had visitation issues with my kids dad and took it to court with me. Hands down the judge gave me what I wanted and dad got into big trouble for contempt. I don't think I could live without one, and think they should make 5 year organizers so when I run out of this year, I got next year right there. Hope this was entertaining.

When I was in college - I owned an organizer in which I had a task list for every minute of everyday. It was actually fun making the schedule - and trying my best to stick to it. There were days when I could - there were MORE days when I couldn't. Now though, I don't need that much scheduling and organizing. I work during the day - so I really only have to plan for the next 3-4 hours after work. In which case I'm mostly in here. So no more organizer for me.

Organizers are now outdated because cell phone have taken over what organizers do. If my cell phone can have a list of all the things I can do and buy and lots more, then I don't think I need an organizer

I always use a planner because it keeps me organized. I would be lost without a planner. I have to write everything down or else I may forget to do something important. I also write down important dates on a calendar as well. In addition, I also make lists whenever I go shopping for groceries, holidays and when we have several places to go. I also make a list of what bills need to be paid and when they are due.

Yes I still carry along my bag an organizer for I know that sometimes there are important things that my celfone cannot accommodate because of the capacity so I'd better write down in my organizer.
