Why people leave Mylot after the first payout?

I think it might be because some have this misconception that they are going to earn a lot here. And when they do not, they tend to get frustrated and leave. But besides that, I do know of some friends whom pop up once in awhile and they aren't fed up with mylot at all. But just being busy..

If it was just for the money I would have left ages ago. Proof is the fact that I poat on disucssions hepping out when I know that they will most probably be deleted. I think many Lotters expect to earn more. What they do not seem to realise is that there is no other site like myLot where we can discuss. The others are just plain forums and there is not the friendly atmosphere that there is here where, even though we are discussing serious topics a lot of the time, we can have a laugh too. Many think that the earnings are low here. In my opinion, whatever amount we earn here, it is enough and when we consider that it is just for having fun whenever we want to, then it is possibly even more than enough. Not for some of them I guess.

People who come here with a sole aim of amassing wealth are definitely disappointed. The ones who really develops a passion for this place and friends stick to it. Well it the decision of the individual adults.

I really expected that to happen here, people come, people go. Whatever the reasons may be, we have our own schedules to keep, busy days or not, be it personal thing or not, it will always be a way to express our thoughts here in Mylot. If the main thing is because of earnings, then no need to explain but only say adios amigos . I am not a regular poster here like I used to do because of my hectic and busy schedule. But I do find time to participate even once a week will do. I will always consider Mylot as my best online forum and they keep on paying us also. Happy Mylotting.

Hi, Abhaijith! Heeheee... Yeah, some are just plain lazy and they are looking for easy money, which is not easy in myLot because we have to participate actively to earn, but don't make assumption as some might have other commitment outside myLot that it is hard for them to delegate their time. Others probably have violated the guidelines many times that their accounts have been suspended or banned from this site. There are loads of reasons, but I guess a serious Lotter who loves to share his or her opinion and satisfy with his or her contributions and gets rewards from myLot will never leave this site...

hi abhaijith^^;; you are correct. those who do that just really come here to earn money. they did some posts and earn cents and post more and reach dollars. they already realized in the first place that it's difficult to earn here unless they work pretty hard but don't like to waste their first earnings if they quit at that time so just continued until they reached the first payout. i think most people here also enjoy that benefit to earn money but also enjoy the discussions with friends and fellow lotters...i think ti's difficult to leave something you really enjoy but it's easy when you are looking for money but doesn't get enough from it

I do have some friends here who are also inactive. I don't know if they have gone to other online earning sites or they don't feel like building their earnings again. I guess it is too much work to build up to the minimum payout again for some people.

Hi abhai, The reasons should be varying in person to person. Some people are busy with their own work and even they really wish to spend time for mylot then also it is not possible for them. Some are getting bored with mylot and its topics and they also failed to come up with their own good topics. One of my friends she was very active in mylot and still has the reputation of 100/100 but now she is not working now due to lack of time. (She is busy with her kids). So we can't call all of them lazy.

Or perhaps they felt they had not earned enough? Some people may come in here expecting to make atleast $100.00 a month and then realize that it's only possible if you work extremely hard to make that much money. Oh well, either way it's their loss.

Well, perhaps they got a new job and become inactive then come back with new face. We can not expect people here have never busy, or there are obstacles so can not discuss. I'm not sure either why they leave after got it.

I guess some people just see Mylot as being too time consuming for them to post everyday. But I don't see it that way. I see it as a social networking site like Facebook or Myspace where you can earn a little bit of money for the time you spend posting and socializing with other people. I agree with you, it's their loss.

when i first started this site, like most of the other, i'm into earning but slowly i appreciate this site and later on i never mind my eanings, i find this site sometimes relieve my stress, so i don't plans to leave this site if i reach my pay-out, maybe i can't be actively participate but with different reason like i'm out of town for new projects..

Actually they look at the earning -- if we get 1c per post then to get paid you need to post at least 1000 which is not that easy. But if you look in this way -- mylot is a place for sharing views n thought only, it would be no problem. Think you are being incentivized for being here

dear friend people use to think that they will make very fast money by worrking on mylot but it is not so easy you should have at least some patience and also requires to work hard to achieve any monetary target... the way to make money is to have some patience with consistency in working on it ...

I think you may be right mylot is more than just about earning money ,it is also about building freindships .The money here doesnt come easy and it requires some amount of dedication however it does teach you that if you persist you can get what you want,which is pretty much the basic lesson in life ,that you need to work for what you want

It could be that they were here to see if they would actually get paid, and once they got paid, they probably figured it wasn't worth all the effort they put into it, as it wasn't what htey had expected. That is to bad too, because they should have known that this site isn't a get rich one, and they they would have to put efort into getting the payout. I certainly knew that when I joined, but that didn't bother me, as I was just happy to be able to share with others, and learn as well. I have also makde lots of friends, and I am so glad for all of them too. I will have to admit when I first came in, it was abll about the money, but since I have been in here, it is much more than that. The earnings are just a bonus and not the only thing about mylot. The ones that just come in for the money, are sure losing what mylot is all about, and that is a shame too. I am so enjoying myself in here, that I miss it when I am not here. good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I see lots of newbie every now and then. I think the old timers already had lots of invites and down lines that they don't need to respond or post discussions here in myLot. The first payout is just a confirmation to prove that myLot is indeed a legitimate one. And they found out that it is. Now they send many invites to their friends and knowing that they earn something from it.

some people just for money but the money are very difficult to earn

Money is always a very important thing in every individual's life. But if we see mylot mainly as a money earning site, it will be a great fault. Mylot has many benefits apart from earning money. It helps us a lot to increase our vocabulary and also rectify our spelling mistakes to a great extent. By participating in various discussions, our knowledge increases by leaps and bounds which helps us in our work fields as well as our daily life . Thus, if we look at all those aspects, it is worth much more than the money part.
