Do you prefer girls or guys for friends?

hi mash^^;; same here i have 7good gal friends in highschool which i can in touch until now. ofcourse there are also boys at those times but we are likely to be shy to each other at certain times. when i wen to college, i had female friends at first but one by one moving to other schools so i was left with our male friends. we were really close that we treat each other siblings. as you said, i was more comfortable with them and ofcourse enjoying their attention and extra because i was only their thorn among the rose...ooooppsss, rose among the thorns LoL! they also don't gossip much which i hated sometimes from girls

For the most part I have had mainly guy friends. I have had a few good girlfriends throughout my life, but way more guys as friends. In part, I agree with you, girls/women can be way more judgemental, and part had to do that I have worked mainly in a male dominated field, I'm a wildland firefighter, and although there are other women in this field, not near as many as men. For the most part, in classes and on crews I have been the only female and was at ease being with the guys.

i prefer both sexes cause having friends of girls and boys you'll have different opinions on both sexes which helps you understands you world around..

Well both crowd is better i guess.. but in my part... like you mashiusan, i had a lot of fun in high school with my girl friends, like what you've said you can share anything about them with regards to girlie things... but it changes when i went to college too.. i realized that hanging up with guys is a lot cool and fun... but be careful of course.. you have to know your friend guy first before you really hang out with them. For me guys can keep a lot of secrets than girls, they are not that sensitive compare to girls, they talk cool things, you can learn a lot from them, and they are extremely fun buddies... they make you laugh a lot.. smile in many simple ways... one thing that i like boys than girls maybe because i used to hang up always with my brother, whom i love best. Same with you. When I was in high school almost of my friends are girls and when I went to college almost guys. Yes it is comfortable when you are with your guy friends and they care for you and the most rewarding part of having a guy friend is that they cry at you when they are hurt. It is different feeling that a guy came to you and cry and tell what happened and so on. I have a lot of happy experience with my guy friends same thing with my girl friends. I love both my girl and guy friends.

I think friendship with the girls is more easier than the guys. because, I don't like the guys with bad attitude.

I don't really have that kind of preference. It's not a matter of "guys or girls" but more of the people involved in the crowd. I believe I have a somewhat equal number of guy friends and girl friends. If they were split into two, I'd automatically choose the guys over the girls only because my boyfriend would be in that group :) On the other hand, I have best girlfriends too on the other group so it would be a pretty tough.

I am a girl, but I prefer guys as friends, they are more real people, they have less concerns, plus I am not a fan of finickee and gossips, so I don't really enjoy the company of women. If there are girls who does not posses those qualities I mentioned, they would be my friend. ^_^_^

Hi, I like to have both friends. Guys will cheer up in all activities and we will never get bored, when we are with them. According to me, girls are used to learn more things and we have very good time pass with them. I have more chatting with girls and i spend more time with my guys.

i am really comfortable with both but i ended up with boy friends.i used to be with both in my school days but we lost each others coz some have moved to other places and we seldom meet these days.but i have made 10 best friends in my college days and we would be together all the time and this continues for years.gud day.

Hi, mashiuwsan! I mostly prefer boys for friends, because we have more to talk about it. There are more themes we can discuss I also have girls as friends. But we have almost the same interests and our characters are almost the same. So we find many common themes to talk about it.

When you like to make friend to someone then nobody will see whether that is girl or boy. you wants to be friend of someone when you wants to become friend,it will not see whether that is girl or boy.

I feel the same as you do. But I still have more good girl friends than guy friends.

In my case, I don't know why but I always get along better with boys. Maybe is because males are simpler, so it's easier to deal with them. Even so, lately I have had really good female friends, and I would not change them :)

Hello mashiuwsan this is checkmail and prefer both types of friends whether girls or boys.Well msotly can say that it depend supon our luck or somethingas the friendship must be confirmed from the other end also.But msotly not am having more friends compromising of boys than girls.In school days it was a bit reversed thing,had more of friends compromising of girls.Anyways i prefer both types of friends it only matter is the honesty and loyalty towards friendship.

...Hi mashiuwsn, When I was in high school I had one or two boy friends but they were special not just friends who were boys. As I got older I then started to have male friends who were good friends and nothing more. Girls or women have always been pals of mine. So basically I don't prefer either, I just like people who are nice, who can hold a good conversation, whom I like and like to be with. Haven't found too much sensitivity on the part of my women friends. Take care.

I think at school girl 'friends' are better to be with. I mean girls are less distracted when it comes to focusing on studies (at least the friends I used to keep). Guy friends are mostly there to keep your life fun and less worrysome. I kept separate groups back then. Girls when I want to be geeky and stuff. Guys when I want to have a few drinks or be a little adventure-seeking. I think the choice between who would want to be around them depends on the environment and character of the person. Like you, I'm less of gossips and not very fond of emotional people so I prefer to be around guys or girls acting like guys. haha. Tough girls are fun to be around. They can be a lot caring than guys but can still have the fun factor in them.

It really doesn't matter to me whether or not my friends are guys or girls. However, I don't want to have an unbalanced amount of guy friends or girl friends. My guy friends are awesome because usually our minds think alike and we share same interest aha. If I have friends that are girls, they usually help me out with a lot of things. If the girl is fine, then I might try to make a move when were closer.

I always prefer having guys for friends, when you win the confidence of a guy is grat, you can talk almos anything with them and they can help you on love problems because they have a masculine point of view. You can have both, but if your want that a men be your friend that most be clear since the begining.
