This is something that I really don't get. Ive heard some people give advise to drink warm water in the morning. Maybe this has something to do with digesting food faster or better? I've heard that there's this banana diet craze in Japan right now. And they drink warm water after eating the banana? Why not cold water?

Actually drinking cold water helps you lose weight faster. Your body burns more calories when it has to warm the water you consume up. You can read about it more at this link http://health.howstuffworks.com/question447.htm . Banana diets, grapefruit diets..any diet that has you only eating one thing is never healthy for you. Your body needs to have a combination of foods to get all the nutrients you need.

Well, I am not sure about hot or cold helps extra because people keep debating on this one. But I know for sure that you need to drink a lot of water (8 glasses a day, ideally) to stay healthy. It helps your metabolism, your immune system and your skin.

I can't relate warm water to lose weight and it has not been proven yet. The best thing you can do to lose weight and be in shape is to do exercise with a good and balance diet. This is a better and natural way to lose some weight. One step at a time. You can't lose weight and stay in shape overnight.

Hello! I haven't heard about warm water. I know that it is good in the mornings to drink a glass of warm water together with something, like with a spoon of honey or some kind of seeds. But bananas - I think they have a lot of fats and they are really rich in calories, so I don't understand the sense of eating bananas to loose some weight. Maybe Japanese eat bananas to gain some weight as they are quite thin from their nature ;) :) ;)

I've never heard that. I can't really say for sure, but I've read somewhere that drinking cold water is more helpful in burning unwanted fat because the body has to heat up the water which causes your metabolism to increase. In any case, you don't want to lose weight too fast or too slow. The best way to go about it is replacing unhealthy foods with fattening foods as opposed to depravation which usually backfires.

actually its not the drinking of warm water in the morning makes you thin. Its intake of luke warm water with a dash of lemon and honey makes you thin as the lemon drills down the fat content in the body. Honey clears the free radicals from the body fluids and keeps you healthy. Jus try to take regular luke warm water with dash of lemon and honey. it really works.

I don't think it matters whether the water is warm or cold, the point is to trick your body into believing that your stomach is full. You should drink water throughout the day but, most importantly, drink a glass of water before you eat. The water helps to fill your stomach.
