hi guys,
how are you there? i haven't been that active much even though am here everyday. i just wanted to know, what kind of life you would be having a life with out...
Cellphones, and Computers.
as for me, things are a bit better since i can sleep early, except that last night i got an extreme head ache after taking a bath probably after watching television. i don't sleep late anymore and i get to wake up properly in morning to help with the chores.but i did tell mom how depress i am not having my computer fixed.
maybe there's a reason why I am having a LIFE now with out these two, except television and Cd man where i get to used when ever i feel bored. of course, i get to hang out with Ponchi the "cat" a little bit more.
Any suggestions on what LIFE/GOD is trying to tell me, not having these two things now? or probably i might loose more things in the future?
Have a great day

hi LK,
I experienced a month without cellphone, it's pretty crazy I must say. That was when I was still in college, where all friends carry a phone. I love to send multiple sms or mms to friends and not having my phone for a month is like I am not "in" or I am "out of the trend". Hahaha! That was the time that there were still "pure text" from smart telecoms...remember that?! and texting is like so overrated. Then with computers, I must admit that it is really hard to spend days without checking email, ym and other things online. I happen to spend more time with my pc/laptop than watching t.v. or playing games like ps. My asus notebook got attacked by a weird virus and I was not able to use it for like more than a week. And our so "vintage" pc got problem too. Like you, once I got home from work, I go straight to my room and sleep all day. Hahaha.. But, that is pretty much a good thing for I got plenty of rest/sleep with those times. Anyway, I went to Asus World in Megamall and got it fixed (which is quite costly) and since it was my Christmas bonus I bought another laptop from compaq HP which I got on sale.
I think having electronic gadgets for communication and trend is pretty amazing. Since we are living in a now hi-tech generation, having these two things is really important. BUT, it doesn't mean that our lives depends on it. We live without it in the very beginning, so we can still live our lives happy not having it. You are right, maybe God, just wants you to give more time with other stuff, like more time with your family, friends and cat! Stay cool!
Happy Lotting!

Hello Danitykane,
I haven’t been playing Play-Station since the release of Play station 1, which is now under in my brothers hands, which angered me really. And I haven’t been buying electronic stuff since……………………………….oh, never mind..
But I do agree with you that having technological gadgets, gives you a lot of advantage in your job, business, improved communication with your family and friends. So far technology has help me become aware of the World.

Well, maybe God is telling you not to forget that once we don't have these gadgets so in times that these gadgets breakdown, we should be able to go back to what we have been before. We can do what we have been doing before and we should not be helpless.

Hello triplejazz,What the heck was I doing before I went to mylot? Hmmm. Making videos? Adopting cats? Ah, yes looking for a Job I think. Ever since I got in here to mylot it seems to have dragged me down that I tend to let pass almost every job opportunity when ever there’s a job fair coming along. I know it now, probably that’s okay if I loose internet too

Hi! You said you let job opportunities passed by because of mylot, that's so sad to hear, you have to budget your time and prioritize things in your life. Of course, being in mylot is enjoyable but we have to look at the more important needs in our life. Anyway, you can still make up for the lost opportunities. Good Luck!

Thanks a lot for rating my response as the best one. Its is really true that these gadgets are very useful but the moment they break down we should be able to go on with our lives because we have already survived life even before these gadgets were invented. God Bless!

Hello aerous,
Thank you for telling me that, it’s almost been a month already that I have no Phone, I might as well check if there Is a repair station for Motorola phones because I can’t entrust it with a local cell phone repairer.
Well, having a mobile phone right now can be additional advantage to my ice selling business. Or having a new text mate.lolz

As we all know, most informations we use nowdays are come from internet. And we can achieve it more convenient if we have a cellphone or computer at hand.

Hi. Without computers and cellphones, I might have more time to read books, to visit or bond with families and friends, to relax/rest.
Or perhaps I'm wrong. Maybe, I could have less time to read books, to visit or bond with families and friends, to relax/rest. Why? Because I could not imagine myself using the abacus or manual calculator in performing my job as an auditor/ accountant. I could not imagine myself waiting for my clients' messages/documents sent via the snail mail/courier. I could not imagine myself writing a telegram to my families, friends and customers informing them of urgent and important matters. I could not imagine myself stacking/warehousing tons of client documents for audit purposes. I could not... I could not... and I could not!
I guess it's just a matter of discipline. These gadgets were invented to make our way of living more effective and efficient. Maybe, we just have to know how to control these things instead of allowing them control our lives. We just need to have the discipline to turn these gadgets off from time to time or when not really needed.

Hello soledad,
I can agree with you on this but just to let you know that i am no good with accounting eve with calculator, how on earth am i supposed to do audit with out techonology, that's insane and dark ages too.
Old methods of communication will never work on our modern rush ages since most people wanted it even more faster than before and as service is even more demanding on the customers or clients behalf, the use of calculus, snail-mail and other old methods of communication could compromise your job or your business.

It would be heaven, dude.
At least, there would be no more distractions to the simple living we have when they were not invented yet.

Hello ethanon,
I agree with you, no more distractions in terms so having friends, having real conversations with real people. And even with the thigns we do becomes simplified just like the medieval ages but unfortunately with regards to services is concern could be very slow and gab could rise among countries since we get to know each and every one elses culture through the net.

Hello zhanjian,
You’re Job as a sales man, is not an easy job at all just imagine all the rejections and angry customers that you faced by simply trying to sell your products. The use of phone and computer gives you track of future contact or prospective customers and trak of your sales as well. Good luck with your job despite of the crisis. Have a great day.
