Have you tried dipping your fries to gravy or ice cream?

I haven't tried either, but now you made me feel like trying. I still have some ice cream in the fridge, so I'll be sure to do so!

yes i use to dip fries in the ketchup because that the normal and right combination for the fries. but when i heard from a friend that ice cream and fries are great to dip in,it is pretty wierd when a friend told me that is great, so out of the curoiusity i tried it for my self and taste gooooood...... then on, every time i order fries in the fastfood chain i also add ice cream for my dipping.

Hi, eubilisa. No, I have never tried this before. I don't think that ice cream will taste as well. Maybe a spicy gravy would, but not ice cream. I will just stick with ketchup and mayonnaise.

well when you think about it its weird but if you have tried it then its ok. But i think i will not eat a ice cream fries combo.

Hi Eubilisa, I haven't tried it, but my 2 kids do this all the time. Whenever we buy french fries (normally in Jollibee), it has to go with the jolly twirl, a variety of ice cream. They find it really good that eating out is never complete without these two items.

oh yessss! haha! i've tried dipping my fries in sundaes and ice cream. I like it a lot and it taste good. I'd like it to dip on vanilla flavored ice cream or sundae.

I have tried it a lot of times and it does taste good! I have also tried fries in hamburgers and it just got me to finish the fries together with the hamburgers (^_^")

I love fries with gravy, and dressing..which is bread crumbs, mixed with a little butter and savoury.It is very popular here in Canada to have fries with dressing & gravy on top of the fries..yummy!!! Although, I havent tried fries dipped in ice cream, I dont think I would like that, as the ice cream is very cold and I like my fries hot! Well,,have a nice day!:)

It taste good dipped in gravey I really enjoy it it is a change from ketchup. I have tried french fry dipped into a wendys frosty people rave about it and actually like it it is okay.

I think after this I can try both. Gravy is nice option as it is readily avaaibale but I need to use ice cream of my nephew which is at home and do u think it would be crazy eating fries with mango ice cream? Sounds funny and weired too. But one must always enjoy

Hi Eubilisa, Yes we've tried dipping the fries in ice cream or sundae. It's yummy. My kids love it. They prefer sundae or ice cream as their dip than ketchup. I haven't tried dipping it to gravy. i can't imagine how it will taste!

i tried dripping fries to gravy and it's good. but i don't think it goes well with ice cream. i haven't tried it and i never will...well my son tried it and it seems he's enjoying it.

Yes! I dip my fries into my vanilla shake/malt and it's soooooo good. My husband makes fun of me for it. I'm from Oklahoma so he swears it has to be a southern thing! It's good to know I'm not the only one!

Fries and gravy is very popular in Canada. I also like poutine, fries with gravy and melted cheese. YUM!

Well, I tried to dip it on a ice cream after I saw my girl friend doing it, and it's not that bad, but I liked my fries to be a little hot and I still prefer ketchup.

I've tried that too. My favorite is fries with gravy. I've found that ketchup and ice cream overpower the potato, so I don't eat much with that (unless the fries taste like cardboard and I just want to munch than throw it away). Sometimes I even put it inside a burger. Oh the calories.

I once seen it in a movie, I thought it was weird. Out of my curiosity, I tried it. I find it very amazing how the flavors complement with each other. So, everytime I ate fries I dipped it with gravy or ice cream... Perfect!!!

yep i dip mine in ice cream, it's a strange combination but it's great. In Michigan there are some resturants that actually serve gravy with their fries.
