I friends I was one of those luck/unlucky guys used to change schools very frequently, till my 10th standard I have changed to almost 8 schools, sometimes it used to interesting but some times very boring as I had to start with making new friends again and again, this became difficult when I used to be a school where I could not speak the local language but never less it was fun and interesting to meet new people and attend so many schools

I had different schools during my grade school, high school, college, and postgraduate. So, it was just only 4. It wasn't hard for me to adjust at those schools but, of course, there was this feeling of uneasiness because I didn't know what to expect since the environment was new.

Changing schools frequently affects on a child's education. It's very difficult to get settled and to catch up other kids. Fortunately my parents never did that; me, my brother-sisters, and my mom got settled at one place and my dad used to switch between our place and the place where he was posted. I've seen many people experimenting different schools, but I feel as long as parents are caring about their child's education and there is a standard, discipline environment in school, definitely the child will do his/her best.

It sounds funny. Well I haven't changed my school till i finished my tenth standard.
I was with the same school building, teachers, friends, play ground, library.
With the same school I got my friend, don' know when they become my best friend.
I don't know many new teachers recruited in my school.
But my old teacher keep praising me always to them.
So I am famous in my school.

Hi, Hire!
If you mean changing schools from kindergarten right up to high school, two times. I was supposed to go to the same school after kindy, but there was some mixed up with the registrations to elementary school that I had to be transferred to another school. So, I spent a year at the new school when I was in Standard 1and my parents had decided that I should move back to the old school when I was in Standard 2. I was quite happy as there were so many familiar faces. It was the same school with the same name, but different buildings and compound when I was in high school. It was all girls' school. After that I moved to another school just next door when I was in senior high.
I think the best thing of moving schools is that you have new friends, but sadly you have to leave your old friends and sometimes, moving to many schools many times can disturb one's studies and concentration.

Hello hireshd this is checkmail and only changed it once that too mine parent thought good for me.Earlier we used to live in the centre of an area, when in Jr.KG to 1 std, yeah the school was nice, too good for me.I was a kind of hero over there used to hit others, very well, but later got some serious pro with some students. And when we shifted from that area to an western suburb, my parent changed mine school to an main line area. The school area was havin all means of transports and way leading in, so was preferable.Mine first change of school was at mine 2nd std addmission in the new school, the school was big than the earlier one, and prestigious too, had much more discipline.I had to remain calm and neat as was completely new to the school and to the other students. It nearly took me 4th std to get mix up properly with mine school fellows.Anyways now feel that was all good for me and mine future.

Hi Hireshd,
I just have two formal schools in my entire life. I spent 11 years in Sta. Monica Academy-Kindergarten to Highschool and at Unibersidad de Sta Isabel for College for my Bachelor of Science in Social Work Degree. I attended two other training schools-Caceres Catechetical Center for catechesis and with MedHome Training Center for Geriatric Care.

I think changing school for so many times is not a good things.Maybe you can know lots of new friends but it will also take you a lot of time to adapt a new place.what do you think?

I only went to three schools during my childhood.
My first school when I was 5 years old, was an Aboriginal school. After 3.5 years there, I changed to a new school that was nearer to where I lived.
During high school I attended the same one for 5 years. I did have the opportunity at the beginning of year 11 to go to a private Catholic school, but I didnt want to leave my current school.
Mostly i think it is difficult for children who have to change schools too often. You seemed to have a positive approach to changing schools a lot which is good.

on my elementary days, i changed school twice because we lived in a bario only o lemme say a very small town. and the school has only to the 4th level. so i have to go to other school for my 5t grade. on my high school time, i changed thrice because our family that time was in shaky moments. LOL and the worse thing was i got pregnant. during my college days, wow i never changed school. and i finished my course in four year time. its better to cheat than to repeat. LOOOL!

From the first to the 6th grade I went to a small elementary school. Everyone had to change schools after the 6th or the 7th grade, because the school was so small. From the 7th to the 10 th grade I went to another school (a bigger school) Some of my classmates from the old school went to the same school as I did, but I also found some new friends. I thought it was interesting to change schools in the 7th grade because the new school was different from the other school in many ways.
I also went to more than one high school. At first I went to an ordinary high school which takes 3 years, but I decided to change schools, so that I could finish high school in 2 years instead of 3 years. I liked my new high school very much, it was hard, and there was a lot of homework, but the teachers were very good.

I transfer once from a private school to a public school when I was about 8 years old. The rest of the time I went to public school and just went from elementary to junior then to high school.

Luckily, I have never changed my schools but I know many friends who change their schools several times. Some of them moved following their parent who relocate to a new city. For me, I feel changing school something interesting when you get to know new friends and learn new culture especially when you move overseas. Even I do not have experience of changing schools but I changed my house many times, I think more than 10 times. You guys will be thinking, why I have not change my schools along with changing my house. The reason is very simple, I am no more studying at school and I changed my house after marriage.
