Friends of mine might have their home forclosed on, I was wondering where they could go and get some foreclosure assistance. They hope to be avoiding forclosure with the foreclosure assitance. He has been out of work for a while and I don't know if he will be able to stop foreclosure, should he go to family for a loan and maybe be able to prevent forclosure. Does anyone know of a lender that might hepl with this foreclosure? I'm not much help here, someone mentioned about a short sale, and I have no clue about that or selling a pre foreclosure listing.

hi
I used to have discussion regarding about home loan before. So, I think I might be able to give you some advice on this one.
well, you should ask your friend to contact his lender or the bank that he owe the money from. tell them his situation and they will help him out. each lender has to have a phone number for financial adviser that provide from the Government. how far he has been missing the payment? well, mostly 6 months behind and they will put him. but no matter what, they still help if he call them on time.
First step, call his lender. ask them if they can help him out. if the situation is worst then he need to contact Government financial adviser, then these people will contact his lender and ask his lender to help him out. And that is the only first step to do now. hope your friend find the way out
