I have seen gas go up to $3.50 a gallon in S.E. Texas. That was after Hurricane Rita blew threw here in Sept. 2005. Yes, I mean Rita, and not Katrina. I think the price is still too high at $2.15 a gallon almost a year later, but I hope I never see it get as high as last year.

Do you notice that it starts to go down, we get close to a holiday, and it goes back up again? I hope it goes back down soon. I hate having to budget more money for gas than I do for food!
