Hi , my friends, do you have a good relationship with your family or your friends? How often do you usually keep in touch with them?
As far as I am concerned, I think I usuallu keep in touch with my family once a week ,for I am far away from my home. I need to make a phone call with my father and mother. Sometimes I will telephone with my sister. I enjoy talking with them .And I can have a lot of fun ,too.
When I am free, I think I have a long time to talk with my friends, I think I will talk with them online which we will spend a long time. Talking just makes us so happy then. I think we need our friends, who also can help us in daily life .
Have a nice day.

Well that's a good reason to keep in touch with them, isn't it?

I am in touch with my family most often. My husband is abroad and we talk to each other everyday through Skype. I am glad there is Skype that connects us. The internet makes the world go round.
Have a nice and wonderful day.

For me not that much, since I am quite busy with my work and stuff. I don't even interact with my husband it is as if we were strangers living in the same house together with my family. Wow. after 1 year of being married we are like this.

I work a little bit far away from my hometown where my parents live. I usually call them 3 times per week. My bf works abroad, and we speak via skype everyday with camera. for my best friends, we call each other randomly, but we keep each other in the heart.

We keep in touch with family and friends mostly by phone. Our phone plan includes unlimited long distance calls. I do have a cousin who does not like to talk on the phone, so I e-mail her. I have to write letters to my cousin who doesn't have a computer and our granddaughter in Marine boot camp.

I have a good relationship with my immediate family, and some of my friends. With my relatives, I talk to some of my cousins every so often but the rest, I barely talk to at all. Same goes with my aunts and uncles. Some are closer but most are not. I live with my family so we have a strong relationship with each other. With my friends, I have a nice group of close friends and a large group of acquaintances. Though most of my close friends from highschool are attending school away from where I live, we still like to keep in touch every once in a while. A few from that group, I still talk to regularly. My acquaintances, I like to keep in touch with them over social networking sites, like Facebook or instant message, like AIM, so that I don't completely lose contact with them. I've never been far away for a longer time than one week from my immediate family so I imagine it would be difficult if I were to live away from my family and home for a long period of time. Yes, I agree that we do need friends because they can help us out if we had any trouble or needed any advice =]

I don't keep in touch with my side of the family but maybe once a month. My husband and I live with his parents so keep in touch with his side more often. Now with our friends one we'll talk to online, another over the phone. We only have two really close friends. I'd say we talk to the one online once or twice a day sometimes, and for hours. The other friend, maybe twice a month if we're lucky because of how busy he is and we are.

I talk to my close family by phone several times each day, and the ones who live nearby I see often. I speak to some family members less often, say once a month, and we'll see each other less frequently - but still know what's going on in eachothers' lives. And then I keep in touch with other members of my family, like some cousins who live near or far, on Facebook. It's such a useful site, and I think that without it we would probably never communicate!

Generally, I will catch someone from my family online about once a week, we chat some, and then one of us has to go. As for friends, there isn't much real conversation anymore, we just leave cute little messages for eachother on social networking sites.

I think I have a pretty good relationship with my family and friends. Sometimes, I feel I could have a closer relationship with them. But overall, my relationship with them is harmonious. I talk to the every single day. It is usually by texting or online chatting. I agree with you that we need them in our lives. Imagine if we don't have these people in our lives. Life would just be too boring and quiet.

After graduating, i worked in another city not far away from may familay. It is not possible to go home every day,so i rent a flat and lived with my friends.Almost every week i will call my family sevel times. But we only have one day weekend, it made me can not go home easily.Sometimes,my parents will come to see me and bring me some deliciouse food they cooked, it made me feel happiness.
To my friends, we often chat online, it is intresting that a group of people talk together when they are in different places. we can know better about their lives even if we don't live together.

i get along with my side of the family but I still don't get together with them or keep in touch with them as much as i should I guess. We do emails and if we run into to one anothr when we are in a store or something we will chat for a bit but none of us really go out of our ways to get in contact with one another and then there has been the few times we have lost another family member and then apologize to one another because it seems to be the only time we see each other. I do keep in touch with my mom though we talk every other day at the least and sometimes she will even call her 5 to ten times a day and man does that drive me nuts. I think there are those times when I feel bad for not keeping in touch with my family more but there is also the thing where they don't go out of their way to keep in contact with me either and why do i always have to be the one making the effort?

Those that live close to me I see them or talk to them at least once a week. Sometimes it might be once every ten days. My family that lives out of state it has been months since I talk to my sister and brother. It seems that everyone has their own life and just do not have the time to keep better in touch with family that live out of state.

i m trying to keep in touch with my children everyday...they're living in the U.S. while i'm here in the Philippines. everyday, i'm online with them..at first they like it...but after a year, i feel they're making excuses..they're busy at work, studies, etc..especially my youngest son who is a teenager. i just want to know if they're okay there...but i think they're avoiding me now...

Like you, I live far from my family too, so I try to keep in touch with them as much as possible. Thanks to the great invention that the internet is, I can talk to them everydays. Sometimes I call them by phone, even if it`s expensive. Same goes for my friends!
