This study suggests that men and women have different symptoms such as, Women are prone to symptoms like sadness, crying, and loss of interest in activities. Where men were twice a likely to experience anger, and lose their temper. I have suffered, and recovered from depression many years ago, and I believe that men and women suffer form all the symptoms that I described above. I would like to hear from others that have been there, and to see if what they say.

Except for crying, I think I suffer from all of the symptoms you described above. Both for men and women. I admit that there are a lot of mitigating circumstances that has caused me to exhibit these symptoms, and I am not sure if I am on verge of suffering from depression, or if I am already there. But, I envy those who are already on the other side. The ones who could say that they've already recovered.

Thanks Bounce, for your response back. One of the best ways I found on staying out of depression's way is to keep busy. NOT crazy busy but busy. Also, talking to someone who will listen. That is one of the most important therapys on recovering.
Also a light exercise program like walking a mile or 2 a day for.. say 3-4 out 7 days, and I mean a good brisk walk where you're a little damp under you shirt.
Always remember that light at the end of the tunnel is NOT a train.
