I can't believe I made my highest Helium payout yet. It was only $104 because I know a lot of you make two or three times that much, but I am excited. I had an unexpected bill so it was nice to be able to pay it without worry. This is wonderful! I was so glad to see that. How did everyone do on Helium this month. I only made $7 for page views, the rest was from upfronts. I am really happy. I was expecting between $60 and $80.

What can i say Momma except CONGRATULATIONS. You deserve even more for that. You worked hard for it and it's just proper that you be rewarded. I know this inspires you so much to make more and more articles! Good luck and more power to you!

Thanks msF. I have some more articles to put on helium. I don't know if they will get there or not. LOL I am actually working to pull my house together for Christmas. My dad and Stepmom are coming and I don't want them to see it the way it is. We are getting ready to move and the room they would sleep in is full of boxes.

I have no idea what my page view total was but thanks to those two marketplace articles I had my best month ever also. I think I had $28 in upfronts. With all the bonuses it was around $130, I think. I hope I can do it again this next month!

Yes Sheng, Canellita and Mommaj are really on the go as it relates to market place writing. They've been encouraging me then but i can't give my full attention to it. I always plan to do it but could not sit down and finalize my articles. I have some drafts since they advice me how to do it or what topics are of my interest... one day i know i will surprise both of them with my article. They continuously inspire me!

UH-OH! MS.F still didn't write yet. I think she is hiding her work. I bet when she starts writing even she will be surprised at how well she did.
Scheng, how much is payout for a blog? I thought you were doing well with that. I can't believe you can make payout on helium everymonth just with the residuals. I want to be able to do that. LOL This is the highest month in pv on helium and it was only $7.LOL

Ms. F doesn't need to write. She is very successful with her crochet. When she gets her website built she can right crochet articles and link back to her site.

Upfronts sure are nice. I used to be a starred writer, but then I stopped writing and my stars went down the toilet. I need to write more articles and come back up so I can get some upfronts too.
*goes off to do keyword research*
hey, if I want to get my stars up I might as well pick good topics so I can earn good revenue until I have enough rating for a star.
I didn't pay attention how much I made this month, but I have made about 40$ so far in shared revenue, so I made an average of about 4$ per month this year..

WC you should post some travel articles. Always a good way to earn because travel is always being researched.

I believe scheng gets the upfront from Helium. SCHENG! We need your help again. LOL
I'm not very good on that site. In fact, scheng and canellita have been very helpful. I still go in circles and they bang their head on the wall saying she is so hard headed/stubborn. LOL

mommaj congratulations on this very fine payout! That is amazing, i have only myself just started writing articles online. And currently only using Associated Content, but i would certainly like to know more about Helium.
I also wonder if i can take my Articles from AC and post them straight on Helium or if i actually would have to rewrite them? Since i wrote them i maintain the copyright of them... Since you use both sites i wonder if you maybe know anything about this?

My passion is AC. So far, that is my favorite website.
You can take all the non-exclusive articles that you wrote for ac and post them straight onto Helium. You don't even need to rewrite them although some of the users say you should. I don't rewrite them because it seems to be different readers on Helium than on AC.

my non-exclusive you mean those i didnt sell directly to AC (this will not happen based on the fact that im a non-us resident) And i thank you for your information...
I look forward for the time when i can cashout a nice amount to cover some of my bills, i would like to read some of your artciles on AC if you want me to, i just need to know your pen-name. Let me send you a BR here on MyLot.

You can submit articles as exclusive, non-exclusive, or display only. Maybe it's different for you, but even if you just want to put it on for page views you can put it on as exclusive, which would be really UNwise.
You would be able to put any of your articles onto Helium using non-exclusive or display only, mode.

Congrats, mommaj! That's quite an achievement. Keep it up! I do not write for Helium though. I am a beginner in writing online articles and I recently joined Triond. I wanted to try Helium too, but it seems very competitive there. Anyways, your story is very inspiring. Hope I can be like you in the future.

Even with it being competitive it still makes a little money if someone reads your articles. I wrote one or two articles for triond and quit because the payout was not what I could get elsewhere. If you are doing good with Triond you may want to try the other sites as well.

Congratulations. First you say, you don't have anything on Helium, next you are making more money than all of us. I am convinced that you have a whole group of elves (or maybe 7 dwarfs?) who do all your writing and posting! I have only passed $100 one time when I won a contest. This time around I got something like $35. I am so impressed with you. That hard head is still getting you somewhere, even if it takes a lot of banging!
I've been sick since Thanksgiving, so I am really behind on everything, but I got a new writing spot that I will be telling you all about in a week or two. I just got accepted, and have only gotten my first article approved, but it's a step up in payment and writing prestige (well, maybe just to me?). I want you all to start writing there, too.
Anyway, I need to get going with Helium because I can already see the Christmas bills piling up. Whew. No time to write, and yet I must! Congratulations again!

I missed this past week, still recovering. Now I am starting out behind, and with Christmas, this month will be a real challenge to get enough articles up. Still, gotta try! My (fresh) Christmas tree is sitting in the garage at the moment...that's about how things look around here at the moment!

LOL. Sorry to hear you were sick. I hope you get back to writing soon. I only made $7 in pageviews and the rest was upfront payments. LOL At least I actually made money on page views. LOL That was pretty good. I hadn't been making money on pv at helium so that was a nice bonus. If I have drarfs or elves (you never know) I would get so much more done. I may need to redirect them. LOL

I am starting to put some of them on Helium. That is actually what I did this month to put 40+ articles on Helium. I noticed I have a hard time formatting my article if I have links in it. I have to find a quicker way to put the articles on there than to reorder the words. LOL Hopefully, we will both have another good month. Mine is really starting out slow so I am not sure. LOL

"Has society become controlled by technology? "

Most of my articles are about children, how-to, family, a couple book reviews, and some insurance articles. Most of my money was from posting articles. I only made $7 in page views on Helium. I received my money for posting articles to both competitive and empty titles.

I was really happy with my payout. I wish they would offer a little more money, but I guess they need it to pay everyone that works behind the scenes, and of course line their own pocket. LOL I think it is great that there are so many sites that offer payment to writers.

You make money on helium from earning upfronts for titles that have less than 5 articles and from empty title bonuses as well as the monthly passive income from the performance of your articles.
How do we find you on helium?

how helium works? They say that helium is a scam. i Check the site and it is for writers. You say that You made $7 for PAGE VIEWS but i dont see that they are offering Pageviews..

When you get writing stars Helium even pays upfront. I don't know where to tell you to find the information. Helium.com has been paying me for several months. I hadn't put much effort into it until recently, and when I did I have been making good money. You should try reading it again. I never heard it was a scam. After all the money I made, I'm not going to call it a scam until they do something to deserve it. LOL

Congratulations to you! $104 is very good. I have been a member but I was gone for a long while. Yesterday I just remembered the site again and I decided to give it a second chance and try to get serious there. So is there any tips of earning that you would be advising us?

The advice I got that seems to be working is:
Write 3 articles to titles with less than 5 articles to get the upfront "empty" title bonus and then, write one article to a title that is competitive with more than five articles.
Write a lot and leapfrog articles only in the lower 50%. If you can promote that seems to be working for a lot of people. I never promote my articles and I seem to get traffic through SEO.
Good luck.

Its really a good news. Congratulations!!! I used to write for Helium till it banned Asians from writing for their site. I also had won the first prize of 60$ in the first month of my writing in the writing contest. But, withina few days of it, Helium stopped allowing access to non-US and non-Europians. Its sad to be out of the site with so rudeness. By allowing us the site would have gained some new ideas and articles. Anyways, congrats again!!!Have a nice day.
