When I was in school, I never liked Science. Though I was getting good marks in it by struggling and reading rather bihearting, I did not have any interest in it. I put a full stop to that subject with my schooling. What is the subject you never liked that much, when you were in School?

No one is perfect Yugasinigaru, some are good in one subject and some are good in others. May be if you had seen my frong drawing in science subject paper, you would have thought why I drew bear (elugubanti).

Hi
I like science especially chemistry and zoology, and botony. They are my favourite subjects. I hate social studies. In history, remembering the events and its dates are very confusing. In geography, the maps are boring. I don't like even physics, arithmetic, but I like graphs

Zoology and botony are ok for me though not very interesting. But chemistry was very boring for me. I use to wonder what I am going to do with all oxides, nitrogens and all experiments with tubes and cylinders. I used to stand behind everyone in the laboratory so that I can live in my own world without bothering about cutting the cockroach or frog, making acids. When my teacher made H2O, I wondered, just open the tap and so much H2O is coming. Why to struggle so much to get one tea spoon full of H2O.

I have to agree with you on that. I hated science. It is weird though because now, I really like the scientific things. I hated it alot in 7th grade because my teacher was very rude and did not take the time to teach me things I could not understand.

You are very very correct stephcjh. Many of us develop hatred towards some subjects because the teachers were not teaching properly. Not all teachers are capable of explaining subjects properly. I am a teacher oriented student. If a teacher is talented, then my understanding power is also good and I will shine in that subject.

It is maths, physics and chemistry that I never liked. I think that it is too hard for me to learn those subjects well. My favorite subjects are history and geography and some other related art subjects.

History needs remembering dates and geography requires remembering crops in each part of the land, weather etc. It looks as though your remembrance power is good.

Same pinch Lakshmi saraswathi, wondering whether I had gone mad? No, this is the other way of calling your name. I know the latter is with you. I do not know about the former.

I think the teachers of these subjects have failed to make an impression of that subject in our minds. But then how did the others show interest in them? Finally we will conclude that the antenna in our brain is not receiving the signals of those subjects.

When I was in school, and even now that I am out of school, I really really hated MATH. I was never good at it, and to this day I have a problem doing certain things with numbers. Thank God for computers, and calculaters.

This is an interesting question.. hehehe... for me, I like Science but I don;t like Math. To be honest, if my teacher in Math is really good in explaining and emphasizing things, I will not hate Math.. I think it is the most interesting one because you don;t need to memorize anything like History and other subjects which need memorization? but because my teacher is not good in Math, I also hate the subject..

Hai, you are also a teacher oriented student like me. If somebody teaches me well, I will show good results, whether it is studies or any other work. May be my teacher was not good in school which made me loose interest in the subject. I realised this only after seeing your response. Thanks.

Hi Buchi_bulla,
All through my school years, I absolutely detested math and science both. That never changed and only became worse when I hit high school. Of course, in those days, we weren't allowed to have calculators in class like the kids do now.

But we were calculating very fast without calculator. Now-a-days children struggle to do even simple calculation without calculator.

When I was at school, the subject which I always hated was Religion. I spent years of my life studying Religion and today I still can't see how Religion is helping me in my daily life today. I always achieved bad marks in Religion, and even though the subject was compulsory at my school, I still considered it as a complete waste of time and effort. If I could, I would try and make that subject optional so that only those people who want to learn the values of Religion take it.

Science, Maths are all compulsory subjects to be learnt for our future career. But I think religion can be optional.
