The hit USA series of Monk concluded tonight, or by now last night at nine eight centeral. It had been a good seven-year run and the ending came rather quickly. By the time it ended I was in tears almost.
So how about the rest of you? How do you feel about the conclusion of monk...? Were you a fan? Are you going to miss the series?
And last but not least, did you text a goodbye message into the monk network?

Hiya Kay,
We have loads of reruns so I don´t know if we will ever get to see the end of this Series. It´s always on when I can´t watch it. One of my favourites was when he had a Dog with him who tried to befriend Monk and in the end Monk gave in and let him be his Friend I did see that for all of twenty minutes.
It´s the same the Series "Without Trace", I know it has ended or is due to end but we are seeing all the reruns and the reruns of the reruns the same as Monk so I won´t get to see the end of that for ages either.

You should consider yourself lucky. However, the dog is within the final season. So you're close to the end of the series. Maybe you'll see the end, but I'm not ready to admit the series is actually over. I hope they still play the New Years Marathon though. That'll be good.

Hiya Kay,
Yes but they keep repeating in between those other Episodes from other Seasons and that is when it gets to be frustrating. They also take it off put it on other Days and even on other Channels they have.
That´s why I said it will be a long time before we see that ending that you talked about.

I love the monk so much I have watch it when it first started and I am so sad that it is going off I wonder what will replace it. I hope what ever replaces it will be a good show. I never thought that I would watch a show like that but I have to say this was a very good show, I would record it just so I would not miss anything even though I was home on the nights it came on. But I must say we found out who killed his wife, I have been waiting for them to show that since the first one I saw. Well now it's over and all I have are reruns.

Huge fan of the show and I shed a few tears at the end. Its sad to know its over and there won't be future chances to see Monk updates. They did tie up lots of loose ends, so I'm glad to know about Monk's wife.

Yeah, I'm one of the people who is really going to miss Monk now. I was really sad about it ending, especially when the final scenes (the montage) started playing. As far as the show itself is concerned, one thing that also made me sad is when Monk and Natalie show up to meet Stottlemeyer at the very end. Knowing that Randy wasn't there and no longer part of the team, as someone said on IMDb, made me sad.
But every tv series has to come to an end sooner or later. It had a good run and brought a lot of enjoyment and happiness to a lot of fans.
And no, I didn't send a text message.

I will miss this show immensely. I haven't watched it all season because I've been busy but hearing that it's the last is sad. Monk was a unique character and the show was quite humorous for a drama series.
