Will spain win the world cup 2010??

But history shows that the favorites always will not win the world cup.Unfortunately, now they are on Top of the FIFA Ranking.Since the world cup started the first ranking will never won tghe world cup and its true. (Joshua Ramesh Kumar)

Spain have been major chokers in the world stage for over 20 years now. But at Euro 2008 they showed glimpses of throwing that tag away. They played arguably the best football of the tournament and won it. I would love to see Spain win the world cup, because in today's game they are the only team that still play with 2 forwards up front in Torres and Villa. Most other teams including Brazil only play with one up front. That way it would be a vindication of attacking football. Cheers! Ram

I don't know what the result will be.But as a fan of Spain,I definately hope Spain can win the world cup 2010.

Hi thrillshills I think Spain are the best team in the present. They have top players and have a great team game. Unfortunately not always the best end up as a champion. There are severals examples on the history of football. I think they deserve to win and i hope they would be able to do it so.

ya Spain has a real chance this time round to win the world cup which has eluded them till now... but they will get good competition from Brazil, Argentina & England... My personal favorite is Argentina... Messi will do what Maradona has done in '86... also this will be a fitting tribute to the legend who is now the national coach for them... Spain has a good midfield and a potent attack... but their defense is weak... but they compensate it with a good goalkeeper... lets see who take it... my bet Argentina and next in line would be Spain...

I personally would like Portugal to win as I am originally from there. Also to rub it in my partners face as all Im getting from her is Englands going to win the world cup. I am hoping that Spain dont win because then neither of us will be happy!
