Have You Ever Been Late?

I sometimes ask myself if there is a being that's never been late to anything, whether if its work, school, meeting, or simply a task or a project to be done. Because in my opinion every single living and dead soul committed this "late" even once in their whole life. As for me, yes I've been late and let me say I've been late for numerous time in school, work, and a lot more. But I am trying to minimize and eliminate this bad habit once and for all because it affects your productivity one way or the other. How about you? Have you ever been late in your whole life?

HI! I really don't remember the last time, when I was late for something. I always prefer to be on time or even a little bit earlier, because I hate when someone is late. When I have a meeting I go 5 or 10 minutes earlier of the time I need to get there, because I must be sure, that I will be on time there.

Wow! You do it because you are not a woman! If you were a woman you will be late everyday for anything! Because you will have to make up, to choose the toilet etc.
God blessed the mans!

Yes, m. I have been late many times. Sometimes it is because I planned to get ready too late. Or, someone else made me late because they did not pick me up on time. I am working at not being so late all of the time. I want to be on time. I feel as if I am much organized when I am on time.

I think everyone has been late for something in their lives. Weather issues, car troubles, all the other problems that can happen that you don't expect. I have a relative who is always late for everything. When she says she will visit or be somewhere, the rest of the family knows it will be more like an hour or so later. All I can say is thank god for cell phones. I can alert my supervisor of what is going on so that she knows I may be late. Usually do to accidents on the expressways.

Everybody gets late sometimes. But some people tend to be very punctual when it comes to coming on time. Bankers are one of them.
You just have to give it your best shot.

Hi there.
Well yeah... I am late for my work EVERYDAY! But it's OK as my boss don't think it's a big deal. Well... honestly I am late for five or ten minutes, but as I say it's not a problem.
I am trying to be more organized, but.... I just don't get it!

Same here, I am late almost everyday but I give them the best performance and results than the ones who shows up on time. Still, they reward the other. Oh well they don't get the deeper aspect of it.

I think when you give the best you can on your work - it's not a problem that you are late.

Unfortunately for me, I have been late and have been arriving late for all my life. At school, I used to arrive late every single day, plus, when I had private tuition I never used to arrive early or on time.
Now that I go to work, I still do arrive late but at least I can tell my boss "Sorry Boss, I got stuck in traffic" and he will have to accept it.
Being honest, I think I arrive late because I'm a lazy person and hate doing things which require effort.

I am a stickler for timings. If the function is at 4 I will be there are 3.55. If I am expecting someone at 4 I will start looking out from 3!. I hate those who come late. I never wait for them if I have an occasion at my place. I have always been on time at my office not having a single late mark. Great! I say!!!

hi friend ,
i have been late for many times in my life. during my school days i have missed my school bus and will go hurry burry to the school. during my college days also i have got many scoldings from the professor who is handling the first hour lecture for the day. during office hours , since i was a software engineer because of the flexible working hours i am little bit relaxed and got my own time in the morning hours.

Due to the horrible train service that my city has I've been late several times, even if I left my home with enough time to arrive on time.
I dislike a lot being late. I feel horrible when someone makes me wait, and I believe that you must not do to others what you don't want to be done to yourself, so everytime I can, I'm on time!

I cannot say that I am very often late. I am never late with my schoolwork or late to classes. The only thing I can recall being late for in the last few years is work on the occasional day, when my bus takes too long to drop me off where I need to go and the path I take by foot is sometimes crappy, like with ice and snow.

I have been late many times in life. After each times, I say to myself not do it again, but I know that it wouldn't be the last one. In this world we can't be sure about evrything, so I think that I will be late sometimes in the future. However, it's not a good action, and we should take it as an occasional accident, but not a habit.

yes i have been late many times but it never affected my productivity badly.. but i used to get scoldings from my girlfriend.. because that is place where i cant maintain my timings even if im trying hard.. since im a multi tasker. i get struck up in work sometimes and it eventually result in a late attendance to meet her and she starts blasting me that she is my second wife and my work is my first wife.. hope many men would have experienced this in their life.. other ways i don't make too much of late.. a very few times in my school..

Yes, I believe that many people have been late for something at least once in their lives. After all, there is no perfect human being, though that is debatable. But at the minimum age of sixteen where people post on mylot, yes, I believe that we will all have been late at least once in our lives. :)
Don't you think so?
