Did anyone upgrade to Windows 7?

So, how was Windows 7, I was curious. I didn't upgrade it, because it might cost me extra $100 for buying the official CD from the store. I am still stuck with Windows Vista; although I bought a refurbished computer on black Friday, that computer still running under Windows Vista. So, for people who already upgraded to Windows 7, how was it in comparison to Windows Vista?

I am wondering the same thing... I think anyone with windows vista should be given windows 7 free just for putting up with this crappy vista. I wish I had never bought my laptop with windows vista.... it's been nothing but problems until I switched from IE to Firefox. I may invest the money of just buy a new laptop when I get more information. So I'll be back to see if anyone has any information on windows 7. Brightest blessings, Mari

Well, good luck with your laptop. Actually, one of laptop was running windows XP, until the virus attack on it. After that, I switch it to Linux operating system. My other laptop was running with Windows Vista, so far so good, I am satisfied with it. Nothing but gettting online searching for information I was looking for.

I am using windows vista and its working perfectly fine with me. I guess there is no need for me to upgrade unless I will know from other users that its better. I will be spending another amount of money if I will be upgrading to something I do not know if I like or not. Hopefully the responses in this post will give me an idea.

My rig can't even run Vista let alone Windows 7. It's quite an old computer I have but many of my friends say that Windows 7 is like all the good things of windows xp and vista combined and there isn't much complaints like there was when vista was released.

I have yet to upgrade because I don't have the money to buy it. However, if you are interested you can upgrade online without the need for an actual CD-Rom. I'm also not sure if its really completely ready because I don't see it pre-installed on very many new machines yet. When Vista came out full force, it was advertized everywhere. Still is over Windows Seven.
